University is often treated as the time when your future should fall neatly into place.

Sometimes it does not.

From failing 4 subjects and skipping lectures to discovering a completely unexpected passion in metaphysics, this unexpected journey shows why early "failures" don't define your future.

Watch the full story here.

There are people who knew you before anyone knew your name.

The ladies around this table are those people for me.

Georgeanne was at my first workshop in Cork, Ireland, in 1999. Eight people showed up. I was sweating, shaking, and trying very hard to look like someone who knew how to teach.

I met Jayne in 2000, wearing a red biker jacket in Canary Wharf. That same year, I met Anna at a class in Schloss Bensberg, Germany, Helene Weber in Paris, Sherry Merchant in Crete, Greece, and Di Grobbler in the Drakensberg, South Africa.

They were among my first students. They were there before “Joey Yap” became Joey Yap. Today, each of them is a successful practitioner in her own right.

My brother Eddy was at the table too, hearing some of these stories for the first time. I think he enjoyed discovering just how nervous his brother was at the beginning. The ladies certainly enjoyed telling him.

Twenty-seven years later, we’re still learning, still sharing stories, and somehow still finding our way back to the same table. Seeing what they’ve built with what they learned means more to me than I can properly say.

To anyone just beginning: you don’t need to have it all figured out before you start. I certainly didn’t. Sometimes the people sitting in your first class will be the ones reminding you, decades later, how far you’ve all come.

Thank you, ladies, for believing in a very nervous young man, and for growing alongside me ever since. ❤️ by @djoeyyap

Is that hesitation intuition, or is it fear?

You leave the message unsent.
You ask one more person what they would do.

In the end, you are still going back and forth.

Another opinion may help. But it may not reveal what you have overlooked in the situation itself.

The timing. The people involved. The risks. The conditions that could change what happens next.

Watch the video to see how QiMen Divination approaches a specific question from a different perspective, before the decision is yours to make.

Then join me for YOUR NEXT MOVE, my free training on the Art of QiMen Divination.

Bring one decision with you. We’ll examine the framework step by step.

This photo just popped up on my phone. Our 2014 excursion. Look how slim I was. 😂

Long before excursions became a thing in our industry, I was already more than a decade into taking students out into the field, walking the land and teaching Feng Shui where it comes alive.

Proud to have pioneered this, but what means more to me is seeing how many students from those days are still joining my excursions today.

Tuesday Leong and Bianca are in this photo too. So many places explored, so many memories shared.

Some things have grown over the years. The friendships, the journeys… and apparently, my waistline. 😂

So much to do, so little time. Barely two weeks back in KL and I’m flying again.

It’s been a crazy fortnight of back-to-back events, meetings and preparing for my new QiMen training. I’m pretty sure I unpacked. Can’t remember when though.

Next stop: the UK. Always enjoy being there.

The flight will be my office for the next few hours, preparing for the new QiMen launch right after my UK trip.

Apparently, the only way to get uninterrupted work done is to take a long flight:-) by @djoeyyap

Already made your decision? QiMen Divination can help with timing and execution.

Still deciding? That’s where QiMen Divination comes in. It reveals the hidden motives and blind spots behind your situation, before you make your move.

It runs on a different chart, the QiMen Oracle Chart, with two families you won’t find in the San Yuen system: the 12 Source Energy Beings and the 12 Hourly Stars.

Joey Yap unpacks it in YOUR NEXT MOVE, a free training. Bring one meaningful question, personal or business.
