Spoken about for many years, I’m thrilled this is FINALLY happening! My brother from another, supreme wordsmith, musical collaborator, exquisite DJ and number one nice guy @cazeauxoslo and I B2B for an all 45 set. Shouts to @guys_assorted_goods for making it happen.

Can’t wait to throw down at @waxmusiclounge Feb 6th.

We are thrilled to have Melbournes dearest @djprequel join us in 2 week at Whitehart. The man needs little introduction and is someone who resonates with everything we’re about here at Love Above.

Prequel’s love for sharing music that moves him is ever present in his seemingly boundless enthusiasm when performing.

Records on Rhythm Section, Local Talk, Distant Hawaii and Lumberjacks In Hell, have demonstrated his reverence for Jazz influenced House music, whilst showing a continual evolution with each release.

He can be heard as a guest host and featured artist with appearances on several highly respected local and international radio stations such as BBC1, BBC6, NTS, Teder.FM, East Side Radio, LeMellotron, PBS, Double J and RRR.

Always producing and presenting music with true substance, Prequel wears his musical heart on his sleeve on every occasion. taken in Whitehart Bar by @djprequel

Many moons ago someone sent me a video of the legendary @laurent_garnier playing a set and opening with a track from my album on @rhythmsectionhq. I was quite shocked!

I contacted Laurent to thank him and we began to correspond via email. He asked me if I could like to contribute to his @cod3qr record label and of course I said yes. I had to keep a lid on it as that’s the ethos of the project but I’m very happy to finally reveal that I was a part of this wonderful compilation.

@laurent_garnier @scanxmusic and Oliver are the most humble , gracious and bloody lovely people, being part of this was an absolute pleasure and privilege.

Merci beaucoup !
