Stoked for the Production Music Association (@thepmamusic ) PMC next week!

I started going to the PMC many years ago when it was held in Santa Monica. As it turned out, that first year I landed a library deal that eventually paid for my ticket — and then some. Needless to say, I’ve been hooked ever since.

I’ll be representing my production music catalog, Bang on Tunes, which has graciously paid the bills for more than 15 years. And in Los Angeles, that’s no small feat! 😂 In fact, it’s a big part of what brought my wife and me from Chicago to LA in the first place.

But honestly, I’ll mostly be there to hang out, catch up with old friends, and meet some new ones.

Who else is going? Let’s meet up! 🎵🤘 by @djpuzzle

Getting some ideas down with my @chasebliss Bad Mood pedal. I’m not in a bad mood though, really. All guitar tracks except for drums which are my Perkons HD-01 by @djpuzzle

You know I had to Dub it out. More @reliq_instruments Reliq tom foolery. Akai Remix 16 for the lowest of LoFi drums. In fact these are actual drum samples On floppy disk that came with the device. 1010 Music Lemondrop for the atmospherics, Casio CZ-101 on the chords, Volca Kick on the Bass, and Dreadbox Erebus on the tape echo synthesis. Fun stuff. LoFi Dub grooves. Need some Rasta vocals. by @djpuzzle

Been learning all the new features they added to the @reliq_instruments Reliq recently. Now I can sequence and control all 16 pads from my Akai Remix 16 with just one track. Couldn’t do this until the recent update. Tons of fun. by @djpuzzle
