2022 was the last year I fully performed on stage a few days later my cousin Ronnie 👼🏾 would pass away 🙏🏾 I don’t know if I will ever fully perform behind an MPC or turntables again but that’s not why I’m sharing these stories. I share them to allow myself to be vulnerable and human so I can openly and honestly say to the people I don’t know and to the youth I’ll never get to reach “I believe in you” and we come from the same place “Energy” despite our differences we can unite behind the idea that we all deserve and want better for our family friends and communities 🙏🏾 My stories are not ones of sadness naw we’re done with that my energy will be one of triumph and not for me but for us all 🙌🏾 We can’t fail I simple won’t allow it 🙏🏾 I will return to the stage in 2027 and together we will lift our heads up cause the

The days leading up to your passing haunt me like an awful nightmare 😔 The yelling matches on the morning runs the fights in the afternoons begging you to stop. Arguing until fist broke out and we would both be so mad but end up walking away from each other (Why did I let you walk away, Why) Dam you Ronnie just dam you 😞 It’s not fair you should F***** be here.!! and it just breaks me everyday that your not I constantly questions myself was I to hard.? Was I supportive enough.? Was I even good for you… Or just to busy trying to be a cool Dj and it just hurts Ronnie you where my hero a legend across schools yards for years no one even knew my name I was just “Ronnie’s little cousin” and I loved it 🙌🏾 I haven’t touched a turntable or MPC since you left every time I tried I could just see your face in the crowd yelling “Get it cuz show these fools what it is” and it just breaks me. God I miss you but let me tell you every time I meet a kid to cool for school I tell myself this is for Ronnie and I swear cuz I will never give up and I will never stop until I break this generational curse that has affected so many of our people 🙏🏾 One day we will be together primo and I will play you a song on my guitar but first I’m going to kick the living crap out of you then hug you for 10 lifetimes I love you Ronnie

Duppy is a word to describe spirts.
