For My Brother - DJ Shivam ❤️

I honestly don’t know how to write this… or even where to begin.

I still can’t believe that you’re gone, Shivam. I keep thinking someone is going to call me and say this isn’t true. 💔

Today, I lost one of my closest friends. Not just a friend… my brother.

You had been fighting cancer for more than a year. And you fought like a true warrior. Even when things were getting difficult, you kept holding on to music. Music was always there for you. It kept you going when life was at its toughest.

A couple of months ago, you sent me a ZIP file and simply told me, “Bhai, release this when I’m gone.”

I swear, that message broke something inside me.

That was the moment I realised how serious things really were. Until then, somewhere in my heart, I was still believing you were going to beat this. I kept telling you, “Believe in yourself. Believe in God. Don’t give up.”

I wanted so badly to believe that you would come out of this.

But today… I’m sitting here trying to accept that you’re really not coming back.

We had seen so much together.

The good times. The bad times. The struggles. The crazy parties. The music. The late-night conversations. The stupid jokes. The fights. The laughter.

You were a genuinely good human being, a crazy talented producer, an amazing DJ, and most importantly, a true friend.

And Shivam, I promise you this — the music you left behind will not disappear with you.
You gave me your last remix pack and asked me to release it when you were gone.

I will.

And every time that music plays, somewhere in this world, your name will be heard again.

Cancer may have taken you away from us, but it did not win against your music.

Your music stays.

Your memories stay.

Our friendship stays.

You stay.

I don’t know what happens after this life, but if there really is a heaven… then I hope they have a DJ booth ready for you.
Because brother, the heavens have just booked one hell of a DJ and producer. 🎧❤️

Play your music up there.
We’ll keep listening down here.
Rest in peace, my brother Shivam

I love you, bhai.
Until we meet again…
ॐ शांति 🕉️
