Okayyyy, this one means a lot to me frfr. 🥹 #𝙄𝙨𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧𝘿𝙟𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨𝘾𝙪𝙩𝙚 💜🦄☆💜. 💜. 💜. I will always be more than just a DJ..... I was so happy when @readeromaha reached out to feature me because being sought out for this type of story really makes me happy cry. 🥹 It’s one thing to be out here doing the work, staying consistent, building your brand, and pushing yourself every step of the way… it’s another thing for people to really recognize that and say, “Your journey matters. We want to highlight YOU.”And that’s what makes this so special.When I think about how far I’ve come, I really have to pause. From Omaha to Miami, from having the vision to really building something of my own, this journey has been full of long nights, lots of lessons, growth, risks, sacrifices, wins, big ass setbacks, and a whole lot of faith in myself AND the process. There were moments when it all felt easy, and there were moments when I had to keep going without knowing exactly how everything would come together. But I kept building. I kept showing up. I kept believing in what I was creating, even when other people didn’t fully see it yet.So this feature feels good. Really good.Thank you to The Reader and Leo Adam Biga for this thoughtful article and for taking the time to tell my story with care. Since yall think all I do is show up, look pretty and turn some knobs....🖤🦄 #𝙄𝙨𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧𝘿𝙟𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨𝘾𝙪𝙩𝙚?☆☆☆So much goes into djing an event, especially as a mobile dj you literally bring the club or the vibe layout to your client! @remixedeventsllc provided the sound equipment, the microphones, the uplights (which were a bonus) and the vibes, of course! But I had to come an hour and a half early for set up and sound check, and I included a transmitter instead of wiring It through the whole room and it sounded great (except when it cuts out) it's something that most djs don't do, but me being a professional of almost 20 years. The girlies were shopping the newest collection, making content, looking cute, and somewhere in the middle of it all... an impromptu fashion show broke out and they WERKED IT!!!Those are my favorite kinds of events. The ones where nobody's forcing the vibes... it just happens.And if you know me, you already know I don't just show up with a playlist. @remixedeventsllc brought the sound system, wireless mics, a little bonus uplighting, and together we turned a beautiful pop-up into an experience people will remember.Big thank you to #ofuure and the entire team for trusting me with your Miami stop.
