Hello, I’m Rewild. 🌿 A lot of you are new here, and a reintroduction is overdue. I promised myself this page wouldn’t become all flyers and promo… yet here we are. 😂 Let me interrupt my own feed for a bit.

Behind the decks, I’m a human learning, unlearning, and building a life around music and community. Here are seven things this summer taught me. You’ll get to know me along the way:

1. If you can’t find it, give yourself permission to build it. Chula began with that belief. Start before you have every answer. Make mistakes, ask for help, and lean on your people. Community is both what we’re building and how we build it.

2. The seasons will change before you feel ready. Like the autumn trees, we’re allowed to shed what we’ve outgrown. Make room for the unknown and appreciate the sunshine while you’re still standing in it.

3. Coming home to yourself takes unlearning. Sometimes it means questioning who you were taught to be. Sometimes it means listening to the little version of you who still remembers what brings you joy.

4. The people closest to us can reveal where we need more patience, honesty, or boundaries. Growth asks us to listen, take responsibility, and practice showing up differently.

5. I make a living through music, and music keeps bringing me to life. It’s medicine, connection, and a language we can share without saying a word. Some of my favorite humans entered my life because music brought us into the same room.

6. Your no matters as much as your yes. I’ve turned down opportunities because they didn’t align with my values. Every choice helps shape the life I’m building. I want to recognize myself in that life.

7. Make room to enjoy what you’re creating. Between teaching, playing sets, and bringing Chula to life, there’s always another thing to do. This summer reminded me to look up, dance, and let myself feel proud. Joy deserves space on the calendar, too.
