This 1997 banger was the first album from @flynnadam and the start of the @lasymphony crew. Let me tell a quick story. It was the spring of 1998 and I was going to go down from the Bay to LA to visit a college as a high school senior. I was getting on a Southwest flight and a guy who looked like a DJ was getting on the plane with his big headphones and a Wu Tang shirt. I sat next to him and talked to him and he asked what type of hip hop I liked. I rattled off a few names, including Flynn since I was playing his album a bunch on our high school radio station, and he’s like, “I know those guys. Let me call them and see if they’re around this weekend” and that’s how I got invited to a house party with Flynn. 🙌 If I remember right it was also Brainwash Projects @pigeonjohn and Drunk Kings in San Dimas. Me and my friend Dan yolo’d it and got dropped off with no ride back (this was pre-cell phones and Uber). Shout out to Eartube Empire czar Noah @tutak for driving us home. There’s a lot more to the LA Symph story, but definitely down from day one! @cookbookthepr @beits3 @flysolomusic @iamjoeythejerk @uno_mas @cookandjoeareop #lasymphony by @djseeba

I love @countbassd and have been down since the mp3.com days 🙌 A true artist. And producer/musician/beat maker. I’ve tried to see him whenever he’s in the Bay. Here are a few snaps from 2012, 2016 (when Instantly New dropped) and Hiero Day in 2019 🔥🔥🔥 check out the dope cover photos from none other than Dionne Farris — with contributions from @djpocket and @dillonmaurer countbassd.com for life! and @jazzysport.official too 🙌 and get on his mailing list too :) by @djseeba

So let’s talk some Southern Christian rap 🙌 @grapetree.records had the game locked down in the late 90s. Prime Minister, Lil’ Raskull, Antonious, Nu-Wine and L.G. Wise delivered the No Limit alternative that you could pick up at your local Christian bookstore 🔥🙌🙏 some gospel funk for the trunk. dope artwork too! @primemino @therealantonious @hefewine @lilraskull @chh_album_of_the_day by @djseeba
