I grew up in cultural isolation.

During my childhood and teenage years, I didn’t have access to channels like MTV. First time I saw break dance battles while I was living at Rostov-on-Don at 13 y.o. I remember that b-boy Kirpich kissed his opponent on the cheek right in the middle of his round, and @gun_ioe took first place in the battles. What I saw that day inspired me for the rest of my life!

I grew up listening to hip-hop, even when getting access to music was almost impossible. And now, I’m inspired by how the culture continues to evolve. New producers blend classic vibes with modern sounds, and it’s amazing to see Hop-hop becoming even wider and deeper.

One of the trends I’m currently inspiring is the return to analog sound. I try to rely less on digital effects and focus more on working with samples and live instruments. This approach gives the tracks a warmer and more authentic feel.

For me, Hip-hop is about respecting its roots while looking toward the future. What does hip-hop mean to you? Let me know—I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Having fun! ✨

That’s the best way to describe how it felt making this beat.
Chopped samples, groovy bounce, and that touch of classic boom bap flavor.

Big thanks to @poterskee for sharing his vinyl collection — the samples for this track came straight from there!

The best way how to COOK beat is
a good company - this is 💯 %
Here the list of ingredients:
- good mood
- musical knowledges
- desire to have a good time - important!
It took 2 hours of having fun and making music with @__isihambi__ . We didn’t take care of source of a sound, it was samples tracks from YouTube. And we’ve added some flavour with this vinyl noise and scratching.
I wish you have a good time in this year as much as possible. Don’t forget about community and sharing knowledges - this is also a part of Hip-hop culture. ✌️

I want to be honest with you…
I wish I could go to work like I do at the beginning of this video. But these dances aren’t because I’m happy to be scratching (well, maybe partly), but mostly because I’m totally exhausted 😅 It took me over a week to film this. I’ll definitely share the behind-the-scenes process with you, but that’ll be a completely different story 🙃
