Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Excited to announce my commitment to Gardner Webb University to continue my academic and athletic career!

First and foremost, I want to thank God for giving me the strength and perseverance to overcome every challenge on this journey. Thank you to my family for your endless support and sacrifices. To my coaches and teammates, thank you for challenging me, believing in me, and helping me become the player and person I am today.

Let’s roll!!! Committed. by @djsmith8704

2 BOMBS ON OPENING DAY FOR OUR GUY @djsmith8704 💣💣

The ACL COME BACK ‼️‼️‼️
So proud of this dude for working his tail off to get back 3 MONTHS earlier than we expected.

Here’s a little background about his injury and his recovery time to play again:

“I tore my ACL and Meniscus June 7th, 2024. I had surgery June 19th. Initially told I would be out 9-12 months. I trained and went thru lots of Physical Therapy and was fully cleared in December. 3 months ahead of the initial 9 months minimum they gave me. First game back today, January 30th, 2025.”

KEEP GOING DANNY 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
