D.A.N.C.E. Indie Sleaze @argosyeav
Saturday Oct 17 | 10pm | 21+
$10 before 11:30, $15 after
DJ’s @brian_de_parris & @djtaradactyl
From the creator of @darkdiskoparty

A new late-night dance floor in Atlanta dedicated to indie sleaze and electro house, driven by two veteran DJs who helped shape the city’s underground nightlife. Their sets blend blog-house classics, indie dance anthems, and electro-house bangers from artists like Justice, MSTRKRFT, LCD Soundsystem, M.I.A., Bloc Party, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Expect a sweaty, high-energy atmosphere filled with flashing lights, vintage tees, and a crowd dancing from open to close. Equal parts nostalgia and chaos, it’s a celebration of the era when indie dance and electro ruled the night.

The closest connection I have to Dolly is that my first cousins once removed on my mamaw’s side, the McCarter sisters, were on the Dolly show in 1987. Growing up in Tennessee, I always tried to stifle my accent. Dolly held onto hers and made it something to be proud of. My mom who was born and raised in Gatlinburg, TN sometimes sounds just like her! Dolly really meant a lot to me, and she makes me proud of my hillbilly ancestry. 🩷 I’m looking forward to playing a vinyl tribute to Dolly at @stereoatl on Wednesday, but hopefully I don’t bawl my eyes out the whole time! 😭 by @djtaradactyl
