L’estiu passat una cançó que ressona a la meva infància, va començar a sonar dels meus llavis acompanyada per la guitarra, sempre tan amable, d’en Paul. La llengua francesa i aquesta impecable composició d’Henri Salvador i Benjamin Biolay de nou m’atravessen el cor. Fa un any el Virgile i l’Ugo, com ninjes de la bellesa, van capturar aquest moment ple de sentiment en un balcó de la meva terra natal. El meu jardí dhivern.
Amb la més genuïna llum i cuidat timbre us presentem la nostra interpretació de “Jardin D’Hiver”.

L’été dernier, cette chanson qui résonne dans mon enfance s’est mise à résonner sur mes lèvres accompagnée de la guitare de Paul, toujours aussi gentil. La langue française et cette composition impeccable d’Henri Salvador et Benjamin Biolay m’ont une fois de plus transpercé le cœur. L’année dernière, Virgile et Ugo, tels des ninjas de la beauté, ont capturé ce moment sentimental sur un petit balcon de mon pays natal. Mon jardin d’hiver.
Avec la lumière la plus sincère et le timbre le plus soigné, nous vous présentons notre interprétation de « Jardin d’Hiver ».

We are happy to introduce a new, exciting trio: Oveloon.
The name means nothing - and everything. Say it slowly and you'll hear curves and angles, mysterious lands and intertwined language, a bird, a goddess a spell. Lunatic and moon, cocoon, doom, gloom, bloom, loom, ovulation, overwhelming, vel, vela, obert, vellum, baloon. We built it out of sounds we love.

This is us, caught in an intimate moment at the beautiful Gold Watch Studios - telling a story that unfolds as it wants to: playful one second, tragic the next, serious, then epic, then tender again. We are loyal only to the instant.

If this moves something in you, come find us in person. We're playing an intimate concert on Saturday, 26.09.2026, at ZBK Dance Studio, Berlin-Neukölln. Come curious. Looking forward to seeing you there.

💌 We received a new postcard from Barcelona! @djunalund and @paulbehnam met at dusk to sing an ode to the moon. Draped in a bluish glow at the edge of a water in which they took a rowboat ride that very afternoon, they entered into symbiosis. This indescribably melancholic ballad is the title track of ‘Somni’, Djuna’s upcoming EP produced by Paul. It’s about a disorienting dream of unexpected apparition and is sung with such tenderness that you might struggle to hold back a tear. And that sheer amazement on Djuna’s face when a flock of seagulls fly overhead, precious! by @djunalund

A meeting between the Mediterranean, the Balkans and Latin America, GLIZZALÚA invites us into a poetic and theatrical universe where hypnotic voices, electric textures and powerful rhythms come together in a ritual balancing on the edge of beautiful madness. ⚡🌿

GLIZZALÚA was born in Berlin in 2025 when Italian flutist, singer and composer Elena La Conte met Catalan vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and composer Djuna Lund Llopis. Together, they weave a unique musical language inspired by Mediterranean songs, Balkan rhythms and the vibrant colors of Latin America, while embracing a more psychedelic and electric sound.

Their live performance unfolds like a ritual, driven by fierce feminine energy, thunderous percussion, haunting vocal harmonies, and flashes of electric guitar, Hammond organ and flute. Rooted in tradition yet constantly experimenting, GLIZZALÚA creates an immersive concert experience that is both deeply ancestral and strikingly contemporary.

We can’t wait to welcome them to Barrio Sonoro to open this magical summer evening.

GLIZZALÚA - 20:00 💟

@glizzalua was born in Berlin in 2025 when Italian flutist, singer and composer @elena_laconte met Catalan vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and composer @djunalund . Together, they began weaving their musical worlds into a shared tapestry, creating a sound that is both deeply rooted and strikingly original.

Their live performance unfolds like a ritual: poetic and theatrical, carried by fierce feminine energy, thunderous percussive surges, and the raw power of women’s voices. Psychedelic flashes of electric guitar and Hammond organ emerge throughout, balancing delicacy and intensity on the edge of beautiful madness.

Drawing inspiration from Mediterranean songs, Balkan rhythms, and the colors of Latin America, Glizzalúa constantly reinvents itself, venturing into an increasingly electric and psychedelic universe. In this dialogue between tradition and experimentation, the duo crafts a unique musical language that feels both ancient and entirely new.

For this fourth episode of @barriosonoroberlin, they will be sharing the evening with the magnificent @bulgarianvoicesberlin , and as is tradition for our final gathering of the season, the night will take place in the beautiful garden of @artspaceinexile 🌞

Alineación Planetaria is @the.rainbow.machine third EP on fluxus temporis, and its most celestial to date. Featuring five pieces composed between 2024 and 2026, the record draws its centre of gravity from the art installation projects Behnam has inhabited over the past years, translating spatial, visual and material experiences into pure sound. Its title track, « Planetas Alineados », was composed on the day of the last alignment of the planets of our solar system. Vocalist @djunalund came to Behnam’s studio and improvised on the theme, simply naming each planet one by one over the music. A gesture as minimal and inevitable as the alignment itself. Among the other pieces, « Reflexologic Walk » was originally created for Tuneko, the immersive ballet conceived by multimedia artist @marie_polo_ , while « Quarries of Light » was composed for Framing The Invisible, an art installation by @raphaelbaffe exhibited in Berlin and Madagascar.

The Rainbow Machine is the interdisciplinary project of Paris-based artist Paul Behnam, dedicated to ambient and acousmatic music. Weaving field recordings with harmonized electrical textures, the project creates contemporary compositions at the intersection of sound, image and space : scoring films, designing sound for art installations, and collaborating with visual artists across disciplines. Founded in 2019, it has since presented work at the Futura Festival (France), MONOM (Funkhaus, Berlin) and Mercer Labs (NYC), and culminated in Water & Dreams, an immersive installation premiered at Cosmo (Venice) combining live electroacoustic music, video mapping and sculpture — later performed in a 4DSOUND version at FTMA Festival (Paris), featuring spoken words from Fanny Ardant and Renato Gatto.

🐋 DJUNA AND THE WHALES 🐋
An unbelievable coincidence — or maybe exactly the kind of magic this project keeps attracting.
Since the beginning of this year, Djuna Llopis Lund has joined the journey of O CANTO DA BALEIA. And this spring, she travelled to Mexico for a documentary project, under direction of @albasotorra, where she literally sang with whales.
Together with three other women, she spent days at sea in kayaks, listening underwater to whale songs and waiting respectfully for encounters to happen.
“uuuuUUUuuu…UUUUüüüuuiiiiiii…”
While listening, Djuna began improvising melodies for the whales — offerings of care, presence and love.
And the whales answered.
“One day, a whale waved from about 100 metres away. Another day, a mother whale and her baby swam toward us. On the last day, they sang along.”
Her experience feels deeply connected to the spirit of O CANTO DA BALEIA: listening beyond language, reconnecting with nature, and remembering that music can transcend even interspecies boundaries.
