10 in 10. Ten tunes in ten minutes (-ish); some looping, newbie scratching; dubstep. If I like the idea - I will continue with a sort of '10 in 10' chart of old and new music; regularly. Learning and practicing + sharing tunes.

Long time since I touched turntables. With the war going on, I had zero energy for sharing music. But I spent a couple of hours on Sunday just bouncing ideas. And I did a raw take during lunch today. Lots of polishing is required. But 'done is better than perfect'.

@maladmz - 4 September, Slaktkyrkan. Tell a friend to tell a friend. It is our and, of course, YOUR second huge dubstep night in 2 years (arranged by @nextchaptersthlm , with respect to other crews 💖). Last time, we had @skreamizm playing first ever 5H dubstep set. Those who were there know that it was a damn good one. It is in your power to make this night even greater - if we manage to gather all who love this genre and energy. ... Dubstep. You know I was late to this genre. All my teenage and later years, I was into drum'n'bass. Still valid. I just remember that at some point in 2005/08 many dnb djs started to split the mix and play half-half dnb ... and "dubstep" (?). Just that it was mainstream stuff that I didn't dig. Like for real, all these crazy sounds? Meh. Had no idea about the UK scene. Ridiculous, right?

Year 2019, I go to Belgium to meet @saptalexi and @saptazz . We are about to check @alixperez1985 in Antwerp. Warm-up at home, checking tunes. I am like "Guys, check this down tempo stuff in my playlist, it is lovely!". Luca and Alexi look at each other and proceed "Mm, this is dubstep. This is the stuff." I'm like it cannot be dubstep, it is not that awful ad sound. "No-no, this is UK dubstep". ... And that's how it started for me.

The slow heavy groovy sound that fits my energy. Even more in light of recent events.
Yes, I am late. But I love going back into catalogues, discover and experience what I had missed. The golden era of dubstep. While finding fresh and new stuff. And blending all together. Just like I do on @line19sthlm these days.

... Mala in Stockholm this Friday. The legend on a 2 hour journey.

2026 Nordkapp - Lofoten.
Bikepacking trip. Distance: 1,330km (~40 km in tunnels). Elevation: 12,500m. Time: 64 hours (13 days). Burned calories: 97,600.

The 2026 route. On the second picture, I show how it is aligned with my previous bike trip to Lofoten in 2023, Kiruna - Å - Kiruna.

Highlights:
- People along the way and all new contacts.
- Cold + rains. + 10-12 most of the days, colder on some other. Down to +2 at night.
- 30+ tunnels. North Cape tunnel, 7km and 212m under water.
- North Cape itself. Checkboxed. I've been there, I tented overnight. I got the view.
- Northcape4000 participants.
- Reindeers.
- Timings and cozy night in Alta.
- Senja and Andöya.
- Saunas along the way, in Tromsö and Senja.
- Space port and the rocket to fly soon on Andöya.
- The cutest soup ever, Andöya.
- My new sleeping bag.
- In general, the extent I prepared for this trip. I estimate as 90%+.
- Speaking Swedish with Norwegians.
- Being transported through the Svolvaer tunnel by workers when freezing while standing in the car queue at night and raining.
- 3 times getting to the ferry 2-3 min before departure.
- Fjords, the Norwegian sea. The hike.
- The self-service store chain in Norway.

Recent @line19sthlm @subfmradio vinyl session. Long time I touched records, tried to squeeze as many favorite tunes in as I could. Thus, not the cleanest transitions. ... along big mistakes during the set hehe. But picked up a couple.

DK classics. Tour du Lac Lèman 🇨🇭 to squeeze in a bicycle ride after 3 tight conference days, and sleeping 4 hours a day. As usual, highlights:

- 180+ km, 1100m elevation; 7h ride time;

- Without gpx: lost time and speed on figuring out the route. Especially last 40 km. Could probably make it 40 min faster. Next time!
*
- Torture with the sun, 30°C and no shadow the whole way. Burnt arms and legs heh. I did take sunscreen for face. But not for body. Jajaja. Riding anti-clockwise next time.

- Enjoyed Trek Madone, a bike for competition. Aggressive position, was rolling 3-5km faster compared with my bike.

- Owe 6 EUR for a doubble espresso ☕️ and the only piece of a sweet pastry (cold apricot pie) that the restaurant owner, Cyrille, managed to find. Must be fun with these crazy cyclists in the mid of their multihour rides rushing in and out your restaurant 😅

Props to William from Lenovo, my present/not present companion for the ride. My quote for him: "Endurance sports reveal a person's values". He liked it 😎

Barely made it to the flight. Returned bike, back to the hotel. Packing in 8 minutes. Taxi to the airport, check in (again!), security check - I made it in 20 minutes. Jeez, insane. Running with bags after the ride 🥲
