To be loved is to be seen, and we sure do love these works of art. On a rainy day like today, what’s better than getting up close and personal with original art? taken in dk Gallery by @dkcontemporarygallery

All yellow… and a little blue

These pieces complement each other so beautifully and are a perfect example of why you should buy the art you love even if it doesn’t match your couch.

When you collect what you love, everything doesn’t have to match perfectly. The common thread of your story is woven throughout, making your collection feel beautifully cohesive and personal. taken in dk Gallery by @dkcontemporarygallery

Original art is so much more than a picture on a wall.

The simple pleasures are in noticing the details. The built-up texture. The surprising pops of color. The layers of different tools. The series of small decisions. The details tell a story that you can keep uncovering as the piece lives with you. A story worth collecting. taken in dk Gallery by @dkcontemporarygallery

Our October show, Golden Hour, opens tomorrow from 6-8 during @mariettasquareartwalk

Some moments deserve to linger. Golden Hour celebrates the warmth, richness and quiet beauty found when light changes and everything feels just a little more meaningful. Come settle in opening night with the golden timbre of the Georgia Philharmonic.

Well, that was fast! This was my first time painting a large canvas, rolling it up and sending it across the country to be stretched again on the other end. A bit of an experiment—and one day after it was stretched and hanging at dk Gallery, Donna found it a new home. So happy this one connected so quickly. Thank you Donna and @dkcontemporarygallery for placing it with a wonderful collector. ❤️
