Today we hosted our annual Nick Healey Hike for Mental Health in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association 💙
Held in memory of our brother Nick Healey, whose legacy continues to inspire us to raise awareness for mental health.

So far we’ve raised $1,086.50 for mental health programs in our community. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the cause.

Huge thank you to our sponsors @bakdcookies and @taphousecoquitlam for helping make this event possible. We also appreciate @kbg_sfu for coming out and supporting the hike.

2025–2026 Sweetheart: Maëla Descamps 💙💛❤️

We’re incredibly grateful to have had Maëla as our Sweetheart this past year.

She went above and beyond for the chapter, helping us with everything from setting up parties and events to advertising, rush, and everything in between. She also put her creativity to work for us, making an amazing custom DKE cooler, creating our composite, and crafting an incredible custom paddle for the chapter.

More than anything, she was always willing to lend a hand and be there for the brothers. Her support, creativity, and energy have meant a lot to our chapter, and we couldn’t have asked for a better Sweetheart.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for the Tau Beta Chapter! taken in Simon Fraser University by @dkesfu

Brothers Cade and Ben were proud to represent the SFU chapter at the 182nd Delta Kappa Epsilon International Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.

The convention brought together brothers from every corner of the DKE network, creating an incredible opportunity to exchange ideas, build friendships, and learn from alumni whose experiences continue to shape the fraternity and the world today. Connecting with members from all 56 DKE chapters was a reminder that brotherhood extends far beyond our own campus.

From leadership sessions and conversations with accomplished alumni to sharing ideas with chapters from across North America, the weekend offered valuable insights we’ll bring back to Tau Beta as we continue to grow.

Of course, no trip to Nashville would be complete without taking in the city’s famous music scene, incredible food, and unforgettable atmosphere.
