The stars aligned.

All the work I’ve put in, and all those hours in the gym, for a time that makes me feel proud and reminds me that I can achieve anything I put my mind to. It’s always been Me vs Me.

That being said, I couldn’t have done it without the help of all the run clubs l’ve attended since my running journey began.
Without them, I wouldn’t have built the consistency I needed to train week in week out alongside so many other hardworking people.

I didn’t celebrate my sub-20 in March at all. I just kind of forgot about it and moved on.

This is a reminder to celebrate the things you’ve worked hard for. Sometimes, in chasing the next goal, you forget to appreciate how far you’ve already come.

The race where it all started. The race that left me chasing that dopamine feeling I’d never experienced before. And here I am, one year later, with a 13 minute PB.

This year I had the privilege of representing @teambloodlines and using the race to help raise awareness around the importance of giving blood. Being involved with the charity has really opened my eyes to how little many of us know about blood donation and just how much of an impact you can make by donating.

I’m so blessed to represent such an amazing charity, and if sharing this journey has encouraged even one person on here to learn more about giving blood or consider donating, then it’s been worth it. 🩸💉 taken in Big half London Greenwich by @dklegalkicks
