Today is release day. The first vintage of 'La Tramontane.' A Pinot Noir from our north-facing slope, the coldest, latest ripening block at Lonesome.

One of the things we love about farming this vineyard year after year is getting to know all of its little differences: the blocks that ripen first, the ones that make us wait, and the places that surprise us.

When we lived in Burgundy, we were inspired by how carefully growers paid attention to these differences, making separate wines from tiny sections of vineyard that varied even slightly in slope, elevation, soil, or exposure.

That idea has stayed with us and ‘La Tramontane’ is very much a result of it. Less than 100 cases produced from our latest-ripening piece.

We're so excited to share it with you.
