D&K’s Studio presents....”ORDINARY”

Before the end of our normal dance season finishes we sit down, work and brainstorm on what our summer dance schedule will consist of. You will always have the “normal” classes that are needed and required but we love to have something out of the “ordinary” as well if and when possible. Miss Kellie challenged the task of a Video Class. How can we work with choreography and camera angles and take this out on location? Exposing the dancers to something possibly out of their element!

In exactly 3 sessions (3 hours) we learned choreography and took this onsite. In 2 hours we shot the edits and glued them all together to create this beautiful masterpiece of a video!

Alex Warren’s meaning behind this song is a transformative love that elevates everyday life into something extraordinary! How love can make mundane moments feel profound! Every day we get to work at a job that we love...we, as dancers, all congregate to our studios where we pour out our hearts with love for this thing we call dance! It is one thing that unites us all! Dance! How lucky are we?

This very first piece is something we will never forget and thank the dancers for being a part of this project! Thank you for watching, caring and loving!
