Huge shoutout to @prodirectsoccer for sending me potentially the most sought after boot of the year so far. Selling out in minutes today on the prodirect APP. It’s not often I have boots on the release day so made a trip over to Lusail Stadium… the venue for the World Cup final in December. 25 years ago the Pred Accelerator was worn by Zidane when winning the World Cup for France. Also, 25 years ago Prodirect opened there doors to the world for the first time. To celebrate this silver anniversary, PDS have given us a stunning OG colourway with a subtle twist and adding chrome to the boot for the sole plate and the stripes on the sides of the boot.
Stunning boot and congrats to everyone at PDS for producing this limited boot, only 998 pairs world wide and many collectors trying to get their hands on them.
What do you think of this boot?
Let me know in the comments below.

So this happened on Tuesday and still smiling about it now. Meeting a true footballing icon is a privilege and they don’t come much bigger that David Beckham.
Living in Qatar for so long I have been lucky enough to meet a few footballers but this one tops them all for sure.
Also managed to get my 99 shirt signed and my custom Class of 92 boots signed as well.
Thanks to @cedarhollowcards such a legend! by @dlbootroom

🇧🇷 R9. O FENÔMENO. 🇧🇷

An absolute icon of the game and one I’m delighted to add to the collection. 🔥

Ronaldo in those classic PSV colours, Sensational Signatures and that beautiful blue shimmer… this one just hits differently. 💙✍️

Before Barcelona. Before Inter. Before the World Cups. 🌍
This was where Europe first got a glimpse of O Fenômeno.

A proper piece of football history. 👑⚽️

Another one added to the Topps Chrome Road to Glory /50 collection 🔥

🇩🇪 Bastian Schweinsteiger – 2013
🏆 Champions League Winner
🔢 09/50
✍️ On-card Auto

2013 was the year Schweinsteiger finally reached the top of European football with Bayern Munich, completing an incredible treble and lifting the Champions League at Wembley.

A player I always admired — technically brilliant, aggressive, composed and an absolute leader in midfield. This card captures one of the defining moments of his career perfectly. ❤️🤍

Another year ticked off the Road to Glory Gold /50 project… 🏆✨

Another addition to the Road to Glory /50 collection 🔥🏆

This time it’s Marco van Basten – 1989, celebrating AC Milan’s European Cup triumph. One of the greatest strikers of all time, lifting the trophy after Milan’s incredible 4–0 win in the final.

The Topps Chrome Road to Glory /50 autograph cards just look class together, and Van Basten is another huge name ticked off the list. The image of him lifting the European Cup, combined with the on-card style blue auto and the 04/50 numbering, makes this one a beauty. ❤️🖤

1989 ✅ Marco van Basten 🇳🇱
🏆 European Cup Winner
⚽ AC Milan Legend
✍️ Autograph
🔢 04/50

Another year added to the Road to Glory chase… slowly building something special! 🔥

👑 KING ERIC – BLUE SHIMMER 🇫🇷💙

What a card! Eric Cantona National Heroes Blue Shimmer Auto from 2026 Panini Prizm World Cup. The blue shimmer looks absolutely unreal with the France colours, and that on-card look of Cantona’s signature just finishes it perfectly.

One of the most iconic players of the 90s and a man who completely changed Manchester United. The collar up, the swagger, the goals, the attitude… King Eric. 👑

Definitely one for the collection. 🔥

Another Ronaldo added to the collection 🐐💚

2024-25 Panini Obsidian Electric Etch Imperial Jade /28 💎
A stunning colour match with the Al Nassr kit and the Obsidian design looks incredible in hand.

Low numbered Ronaldo, PSA 9 and one of my favourite Obsidian parallels — very happy to have this one in the collection! 🔥

Nostalgia at its absolute best! ⚽️📺💙

Tim Lovejoy & Helen Chamberlain — the faces of an era when Soccer AM was an essential part of Saturday morning.

Soccerette, Third Eye, Taxi!, Skill Skool, the Crossbar Challenge, Fans of the Week and all the ridiculous sketches and moments in between. It wasn’t just a football programme — it genuinely created its own football culture.

So having Tim & Helen together on this Topps Planet Football dual auto, numbered 10/10, feels like a little piece of my childhood in card form. ❤️⚽️

Saturday mornings were just different

🔴 SCHOLESY. 🔵✨

Another one for the Manchester United collection — and this one looks absolutely class.

Paul Scholes Panini Prizm Premier League Blue Shimmer Auto. 💙✨

One of my all-time favourite United players and one of the best midfielders of his generation. Scholes made everything look effortless — incredible range of passing, ridiculous technique and, of course, the ability to smash one in from distance. 🎯

The Blue Shimmer Prizm really pops on this card, especially alongside the United red, and adding the autograph makes it a brilliant PC piece.

A proper United legend. 🔴⚪️⚫️

🇦🇷 BATIGOL 💙✨

Ever since his Fiorentina days, Gabriel Batistuta has been one of my all-time favourite players. The hair, the power, the goals and that iconic celebration — an absolute legend of the game.

So I’m delighted to add this 2026 FIFA World Cup Panini Prizm Blue Shimmer Auto to the collection. 🔥

There’s just something about the Blue Shimmer Prizm with the Argentina colours that makes this card look incredible. And having Batistuta’s autograph on it makes it even more special.

A proper PC card of a player I’ve admired since I was a kid. 💙🤍

🇩🇪 LOTHAR MATTHÄUS — GOLD WAVE 10/10 🇩🇪

Some cards just mean a little more.

Italia ’90 was the first World Cup I really remember watching, and Matthäus quickly became one of my favourite players. I loved his playing style — the leadership, energy and ability to completely influence a game from midfield.

25 years later, I had the pleasure of meeting him at a Pro:Direct event in London in 2015 — an experience I’ll always remember.

So this one is pretty special…

✨ Gold Wave /10
🔟 10/10 — shirt numbered AND bookend!
🇩🇪 Germany legend

From watching him wearing that famous No.10 at Italia ’90 to owning the 10/10 of this card. That’s what collecting is all about. ❤️⚽️
