NEBULA DREAM CLUSTER, No. 3 (Reds) •

The highlights that appear as white are actually a very pale lavender. Love color.

NEBULA DREAM CLUSTER, No. 2 (Greens) •

Everyone now and then, I say ‘hi’ :) (A recent portrait in my studio) And more importantly, a PSA on Green! It is an underserved color in the art world. It is the color of hope, the color of envy, growth, renewal, vitality, abundance, and paradise. Regardless of how it’s perceived, it’s the SINGULAR color humans recognize THE most shades and hues of. NEBULA DREAM CLUSTER, No. 1 (Blues) •

Taking a new direction sometimes requires patience and exploration. I’ve been thinking of different ways of approaching painting recently. This cluster of light emerges from darkness that almost appears from the dark black void of space. I’ve never been fearful of color. In fact, for me, it’s vital. Nature is boundless in color inspiration. (Color palette study for a client.) THINK PINK!
There are so many wonderful shades of pink that can blend into apricot, terra cotta and others. Here, a color study of an Eques light sculpture for a client. #color #pink #romodernism #blush (Original photography by @simonleungphoto) by @dleuci

DAWN DREAM HIVE, No. 2 •
This is a fraternal twin to ‘Dawn Dream Hive, No. 1’. They are the same colors, but different. The moment of painting always becomes a dance of chance which way the pigment will go. (Acrylic on canvas, 18 in x 24 in, 2026) #dleuci_studio #contemporary_art #abstractartwork #romodernism by @dleuci

MATERIAL METAMORPHOSIS •
In my practice, I look how materials can belie their true nature. Are you looking at glass? Is it flora or fauna? Is it light, art..or both? #dleuci_studio #sculpture #art #romodernism #sculpturalighting by @dleuci
