Had not been on the Tippy this year. Saw 5 different boats on the water downstream of us. Yet lots of fish from 4” to 19”. It is a great resource! And we only fished a few miles of it. by @dlfilkins_

Yesterday I caught fish for which a nine weight would have been better than an eight. When I go up to St Clair later this summer, nine weights will be my choice. We have some great fishing in the State and the smallmouth is great sport. I was at a lake that was like fishing in a barrel. by @dlfilkins_

Leaving California headed to England for D-day. My father was 20 years old, a medical corpsman, landed on Omaha Beach. His friend, Paul, also made it through the landing.
