The last 8 weeks have been really good to me but I’m starting a new 6 week program and I’msuper excited to see what happens. This is your sign that if you stick with it you WILL see progress, I promise.

GUESS WHO SENT THEIR APPALACHIAN HORROR FANTASY MANUSCRIPT TO THEIR EDITOR?! Just another step towards my goal of being published. ✨

Marshall, North Carolina you were an absolute dream. Literally, I think I dreamed about you. ✨ One of my favorite parts was when the sheet of plastic blew completely up like it was giving me a peek inside the old mill. Seriously. A dream. #photography #nature #appalachia #dreamy taken in Marshall, North Carolina by @dltindallwrites

AI Works do not belong in our libraries or our book stores.

Data Centers do not belong in our cities or counties.

It’s the little things that stick with you and I’m so proud I was able to add these. I don’t think it ever gets it easier to think about her, what she would think about it all, but it is a comfort to know that there are so many little things like this that I can add. These little secrets that I can share with you all one day.
I miss her.

This has been one helluva week.
I ✨finally✨ finished my entire 430 page manuscript ANNNNND I signed my contract with a PHENOMENAL developmental editor, so I’m about to go straight into revisions. All of this takes me one step closer to finishing my debut novel andddddd one step closer to my goal of getting published. A year ago, I had NO idea what to expect or what to do or how to do it.
With the help of some amazing people, new and old, I’m figuring it out.
Thank you for believing in me and for keeping me going. 🖤
XOXO

PS… if you’re into urban fantasy or horror or twins in Appalachia… 🥹

One of the characters in my book is a mouthy piece of work who ain’t scared of NOTHING. She’s kind of a wanderer looking for ✨something✨ and carries brass knuckles everywhere. I can’t possibly imagine where I got that idea from.
