romeo proposed to me a few times before doing the real thing. he would casually drop questions about what kind of ring i wanted, whether i wanted a surprise, what kind of ceremony etc and i'd always dodged them because i was convinced he was just messing with me. hahaha

but then he got serious one night on our drive home from pangasinan. i already knew he was going to do it. i just told him to challenge himself and give me a good surprise.

it took him two weeks to finally pull it off. asked me three times because we had to get the ring back from aki's collar and i ended up crying even though i knew all along.

somewhere in the middle of the engagement high, i forgot to document every friend meetup as we shared the news. this is one of the few photos i have from what has been easily the happiest month (yet) this year. thank u @nila4ts ❤️

i can't believe we're really here. eight years later and somehow it still doesn't feel real.
