I've been working on this track for around a year, but something just wasn't clicking. 25 years in this game, and I’ve had people tell me to my face that I’d never make it in the Afro House scene because I’m Indian… because apparently it’s “Black music.”But somehow the same people accept white producers and artists from every other background. Make that make sense.I didn’t get into music for politics, gatekeeping, or racism. I got into this because music is how I express myself. My label is an extension of that — putting out the sounds and artists I genuinely love and believe in.Whether I get booked or not has never defined me.What does define me is who I am.I’m a proud Panjabi.My parents are from Kenya.My grandparents are from Panjab.And I’ll represent that proudly until the day I die.Music is meant to unite people, not divide them. ✌🏾🫶🏽 by @dmalice
