What a beautiful and grand adventure with my best friend and biggest love. We once were driving back from Canada and Kim was reading a book and she chuckled. I asked what was so funny, so Kim read it to me. I laughed so hard!! And she kept reading the book out loud to me as we drove and I couldn’t stop laughing. My face, sides, everything hurt from laughing so much. I didn’t want the book to end, I was so happy hearing that voice. I am so very lucky to get to spend my few moments together on this space rock. Amaze amaze amaze!!! I love you, Kim. Happy Anniversary. by @dmapes159

Harper’s second competition was the Bellevue Invitational at Lake Sammamish State Park. Beach start, tight course, fast runners from all over the state…and he set a new PB, 17:16.14. And now Harper has the 4th fastest recorded time for Chief Sealth since 2004. Weird. #crosscountry #runner by @dmapes159

Harper had his first cross county meet on Thursday. With no prior racing experience, the boy finished 11th and helped secure a 1st place finish for the boys Chief Sealth team. That’s pretty cool. #crosscountry #chiefsealthhighschool by @dmapes159

It’s Harper’s first day as a freshman at Chief Sealth International High School and he is going to do great. ‘The Boy’ has been training hard in X-Country and has cultivated a wardrobe to help blend into the background. 🤣 Love this dork.

Harper and I took a mini roadtrip to Silverwood theme park in Idaho. It was hot, the coasters were a blast (Stunt Pilot ruled and the corkscrew sucked), water slides were a ton of fun, ice cream cones were huge and I got to spend a full day with my awesome son. #rollercoasters #rollercoaster🎢 by @dmapes159
