Date Night at the @expo_titanic

It’s my pinochle partner’s birthday! 🎉

Deb is the original baddie and the original cool girl (and still is!)

I have been lucky enough to have Deb in my life for the last 13 years, and to have her as my mother in law for the last eight years.

Deb is one of the most kind, open hearted and generous people I know. She will give to her neighbors who are in need and she will donate to strangers. When Deb was a teacher she would have graduation parties for her students who didn’t have a support system. Deb (and Randy) have an open door policy and will invite anyone over and let them stay for dinner too! Deb is an amazing cook, gardener, artist and the list goes on.

Deb has loved me unconditionally as if I were a fourth daughter and I love her right back.

Recently a stranger posted on Facebook that they had thrifted a photo album and this photo was in the back of the album and they were looking to find its owner. This picture is of me, my sister @brookekolson, my brother,and my mom in my great grandparents yard.

The third photos shows a sunflower the popped up in our front garden bed that same week. We did not plant this flower or have sunflower seeds. But here she is in all of her glory. Now anyone who knew my grandma Vina knew she loved sunflowers.

The fourth photo was obviously from the same day, but with grandma and Peaches(the dog). That one I’ve had all along.
