POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hard to believe its been 20 years to the date since I optimistically filed paperwork to start dMar Interiors. With not much of a plan, but unwavering optimism, I jumped in and have never looked back.

Feeling grateful for hundreds of clients, (the good) contractors I'm able to genuinely rely on (always looking at you @davecconstruction & @joshtempletv ), supportive vendors who make our lives easy, photographers and videographers, our warehouse team, detailed bookkeepers, specialty trades and fabricators, encouraging family and friends, and most importantly, all of the dMar team members!!

20 Years. Feels good!

As we sneak up on Dmar Interiors' 20th anniversary, I'm taking the opportunity to analyze how we do everything, ensuring that everything is done with intention.

While a lot of you here know me and/or are familiar with our interior design work, I thought it would be nice to share a bit about how and why.

That's where @hamiltonpromedia came in. And now you get to enjoy a quick look at a recently completed project AND me!

Time for a room tour with everyone's favorite host, Emmie! She's my best co-star and biggest cheerleader.

Happy Friday, everyone!

Time to talk beds! It's really simpler than you might think. But it does take some variation to make it feel pulled together and interesting. There's no 'one size fits all' rule, but there are many tricks that make them feel well-made.

Like and Save as inspiration for your own bed!

Putting this here for my own records... and for those that love non-professionally edited videos. Its long! You've been warned. But it was such a delightful little escape from reality (sans kid and pups!) To celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in Napa. It was truly magical and I wanted it all documented. There was a ton of walking, eating, drinking wine, repeat. (Now that have down time during recovery, I could finally put it together) Happy 10 years, Greg! 07/16/16 taken in Napa, California by @dmarinteriors

For 20 years, one thing has driven every design decision we make. Being able to put it into words is one of the things I'm most proud of.

It's our 3-T Method: the guiding principles behind spaces built to last. And @real_simple was kind enough to share it with the world.

Try it in your own home, and if you do, let me know! taken in Orange County, California by @dmarinteriors

A milli, a milli, a million???

And the truth is, there isnt just ONE right answer. But there are a lot of wrong answers. So the key is avoiding those. And nailing the right ones feels pretty good too!

We've designed SO many kitchens through the years, and I think one of my favorite things about us is that no 2 of our projects ever look the same. This is just a taste of some of our kitchen designs, but I'm curious - what's your favorite style?

The entryway is the sneak peek of the home. The formal (or informal) introduction. I love them so much.

And I know I've said it before, but you cannot beat the entryway in an old home!!
