Okayyyy little masquerader! 💕😂 We see you and we love it!

Our Oasis Garden babies truly brought the garden to life! 🌺🦚 This sweet moment was sent to us by her mom, with full permission to share, and we absolutely loved seeing one of our little masqueraders enjoying herself and having FUN!

The West Indian American Day Carnival Association (WIADCA) proudly congratulates all mas bands, designers, artisans, masqueraders, parents, young people, and cultural practitioners who participated in the 2026 New York Carnival. Every presentation represents months of creativity, sacrifice, financial investment, and dedication to preserving Caribbean culture.

WIADCA congratulates our 2026 Adult Band of the Year winners and equally celebrate our Junior Carnival winners, Kings, Queens, individual masqueraders, and every band that brought its artistry and culture to the road.

We also recognize the deep disappointment of bands whose presentations were equally impressive but, due to circumstances beyond the organization’s control, did not have the opportunity to reach the official judging point. We sincerely apologize to those bands, their masqueraders, designers, and supporters. Discussions are underway to determine the best path forward and what actions may be taken to assist affected bands and address shortcomings experienced during this year’s presentation.

WIADCA also unequivocally denounces all acts of violence that hinder our cultural celebrations and threaten the safety and well-being of our community. Our masqueraders, families, spectators, and everyone who comes to Eastern Parkway to celebrate Caribbean culture deserve to do so safely. We thank the NYPD for its continued partnership and public-safety efforts, along with the Cure Violence teams, community partners, and safety teams on the ground. WIADCA will continue reviewing its operations and working with the appropriate agencies and partners to strengthen coordination, safety mechanisms, and the overall Carnival experience.

As we enter our 60th year of stewardship, we remain committed to listening, improving, supporting our cultural community, and protecting the celebration generations have worked

ATTENTION ALL KIDDIES MASQUERADERS! 📣🦚🌺

D’Midas will be outside this Saturday! 💜 We’ll be a part of this special event showcasing two of the many beautiful pieces that hit the road with us this year, and we would LOVE to have our kiddies and families there with us!

If you’re available, PULL UP ON US! Come out, show some love, take some pictures and represent D’Midas! 🥳✨

Parents, spread the word and bring the kiddies out! 💜
Let them have fun with the bouncy house, ice cream and many more.

See you Saturday! 🦚🌺
