When you're born a lover

600 days ago, I made a choice. A choice to change. Not a choice to stop drinking. A choice to address WHY I was drinking. That choice has changed the way I think about a lot of things. That change is why I continue to abstain. I'm thankful to EVERYONE I know that continues to ask if I'm still going. Those that encourage me and honor my choice. I don't know what's next in life, but I know I'm more ready for it now than I was 600 days ago.

I can't believe it's been 17 years since I held you "in my arms" and sang you to sleep with this song. Words cannot describe how proud I am of the young man you have become. Kind, compassionate, funny as hell, smart. Those barely scratch the surface. It was really hard to choose just a few photos, but these are some of my favs. I love you kid, always! Happy Birthday!! 🎂🥳🎉

Jungle - Seattle - Oct 3, 2026

Well that was a non stop dance party. 75% of the songs went right into the next. And every one was a banger! The vocal and music talent on that stage was amazing. AND I got myself a setlist!!

It's been a little while since I recorded one of these. Truth is, I whacked the tip of my middle finger on my chord hand about a month ago so it forced me to take a break. During that break I lost some motivation. Today I got that motivation back thanks to someone special to me. This one is for you. ❤️‍🔥
