Volumes of Play is conceived as a territory of freedom—an architecture where children can move without prescribed paths, meet without boundaries and transform space through imagination.

Timber volumes, bridges, climbing surfaces, passages and sheltered rooms form an open landscape of discovery. Each element encourages curiosity, cooperation and the confidence to create one’s own world.

Against the structures of fear, division and conflict inherited from the adult world, the project proposes a quieter but more radical form of space: architecture shaped by care, dignity and possibility.

The project proposes a calm and human-centred model of care architecture, where the qualities of a home replace the atmosphere of an institution.

Organised around light, courtyards, shaded outdoor spaces and carefully framed views, the building is designed to support orientation, comfort and dignity in everyday life.

Natural materials, soft thresholds and generous communal areas create an environment that is protective without being closed, and social without compromising privacy.
