POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Big sappy album release post—the @inoculous LP is out today, a labor of love on my part and an absolutely Herculean years-long lift by the one and only @dmtrwlf. Slide 2 is us playing part of "A Safe Space to Crash Out" back in 2021 (!!!!!) before shelving it, recording an EP of other songs, and eventually returning to it for the record and a music video (slide 3). We sold enough T-shirts (slide 4) over several years to pay @danny_d598 to record the drums in 2 (well, technically 3) sessions (slide 5), and then the late, great, and profoundly missed Simon Small reamped all the guitars at Type One (6). Miss you Simon, really genuinely wish you could've heard this. Demetri and I edited everything (7), @sounds_like_jack mixed the record (except for one bit that Glenn Smiliansky did), and @kcrummett did the master. Music is better with friends, so @dante_swan_, @kylepaulnowinstereo, @sothisisbass, @ando__san, @twinkletwinklelittlemath, and @wynn.lose.draw all did their thang on this album, and it is much richer for it. I want to extend an extreme amount of gratitude to all of them as well as everyone that bought a shirt/sticker/download, everyone that heard me out about anything related to making this record, and (importantly!) everyone that said something nice about the music at a show or elsewhere. Would not have been possible without all of that.

Lastly, I want to thank @dmtrwlf for writing most of the music here, learning the weird-ass guitar parts that I wrote, putting up with my bs throughout the whole process, and for asking me to play in this project in the first place (slide 8). It's been a journey, and I am overjoyed at having gone through it with you. by @dmtrwlf

We would say we’ve been patiently waiting for @inoculous to release their self-titled LP, but that would be a lie - we’ve been impatient as hell!!! Today it’s finally out. Simply put, it rocks, and to celebrate Kyle and Demetri gave us track-by-track details, from a song originally titled “Fall of Covet” to the guest spots from @dante_swan_ and @ando__san 🔥 by @dmtrwlf

I am locked out of my @inoculous account. Perfect timing and considering my album comes out Friday and my tour starts in three weeks. But I made this reel and screw it, I’m gonna post it, and I will also continuously harass meta until I can get back into my account. Show some love if you’re a real one. 🤘🏽💙

Making 5 gallons of cold brew for tour w/ @wearesnooze, so we can spend money on gas!

I am Demetri Wolfe and when I am not being a rockstar, I am a cafe manager and coffee program lead here in Chicago. I made this page to share my love of coffee with my friends and build confidence in our tastes. Hopefully I’ll pass something on through all of my rambling. If you love coffee as much as I do, stick around!

28. I did a lot at 27 outside of music. That is to say I ONLY did 3 tours, went to England, and finished an album or 2, just doing ~50ish shows 😅I also found a career in coffee, something I love that has allowed me to enjoy performing again, after a period when I genuinely thought I was done. Thank you for all the love yesterday, my dear friends. You reminded me that I’m appreciated and valued for being me. 28 seems to already be sucking me back into music with cooler opportunities than I could’ve ever dreamed of. Stay tuned, the @inoculous album is impending and cool stuff is cooking with @wearesnooze. In the meantime, here’s some chon.

While on tour, @alexkennedydrums reminded me how good of an album “Weightless” by AAL is. This shit is HAAARRD!!! Especially since I have no other 7/8 string guitars except for this one. I’ll teach you to thump on anything tho! Book a lesson with me today.
