DNIC Virtual: Psychological Safety of PLAY
Host: @lilishen92
Guest Speakers: @lisapeers and @nativi_rad
Date: October 14th Wednesday
Time:
10am-11am (Vegas, SF, LA)
7pm-8pm (Amsterdam)

Play builds the foundation to physical, social, cognitive and emotional growth. It is how we learn soft skills like problem solving, creativity, empathy, confidence, and how to cope with stress when things get tough. Play is also essential in making social connections and building relationships, both as children, as well as adults. Psychological safety is particularly important when it comes to play because we have to feel safe enough to be ourselves. Play can be an incredibly vulnerable thing, especially as we get older. Listen to professionals talks about how PLAY is essential to their work and what can we learn about psychological safety in play that we can bring to the workplace?

Join Lisa Peers, CEO of @peersandplayers and Wendy Natividad, Co-organizer of @communityimprovla as they share personal stories and conversation about why psychological safety is important in their work.

Please RSVP through the link in bio & share with your friend who cares about safety! More on the speakers in the link too!

Happy International Woman’s Day!
It’s been an eventful 2026, and we were so honored to host Dr. Nimisha Vandan, Co-Founder & Director of @okaymindsig , on the topic of “The Hormone Story: Decoding Menopause in a Modern Woman’s World”.

Dr. Nimisha busted some myths and reminded us that we need to reshape how we think about menopause, it isn’t a disease but a transition and evolution! A lot of anxiety and fear surrounding menopause is rooted in misconception, therefore it is important for everyone to understand menopause in a deeper way.

So dear friends, please keep talking about menopause, both outside and inside the workplace so that together, we can break the stigma. If you are someone in a decision-making position, you can support menopausal women at work through:
1. Establishing a menopause policy
2. Creating a supportive environment without discrimination
3. Offer health benefits
4. Use inclusive job ads, skills-based hiring and blind resumes
5. Make menopause support part of your D&I strategy!

Last week, we closed out our 3 module program on Inclusion in the Workplace with a topic near and dear to our hearts, Wellbeing & Belonging.

Facilitated by: @catmosegaard @lilishen92 @liucharlene

It was a privilege to share and discuss such an important topic with professionals across APAC.

One of the key takeaways: The stigmas and judgment ingrained in us about ourselves is the hardest hurdle to overcome, even if we do a good job in supporting others. So take care of yourselves, everyone. As we close out 2025, we say no to burnout culture, we practice healthy boundaries and we focus on building strong social connections at work.

✨ We were proud to host a successful Culture of Inclusion training with a leading Tech Firm and their teams across APAC! 🌏

This was the second session in our three-part series on Fostering Inclusion in the Workplace, co-facilitated by @catmosegaard and @lilianshen92 🎙️

📌 Key takeaway: Fairness & Empathy are crucial behaviors amongst both employees and leaders to sustain the inclusive DNA in any organization.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to not only share knowledge but also facilitate meaningful dialogue with teams around the world who are equally committed to building more equitable systems. Our goal: equip DEI leaders and advocates with practical language and actionable tools to drive impact in their regions, departments, and functions.

🌍 The APAC region is the most culturally, ethnically, and religiously diverse in the world, home to over 60% of the global population. It is not a monolith. Conversations around Asian representation and inclusion cannot be an afterthought. The time to recognize the nuance and complexity of lived experiences across Asia is now.

Because inclusion starts with understanding and ends with belonging. 💡

🌈 Today is #IDAHOBIT – the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia.

At DNIC, we proudly recognize and stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. We celebrate this day, especially for those who cannot. IDAHOBIT is a powerful reminder that inclusion is not just a value — it’s a responsibility.

This year’s theme highlights the power of communities, and we couldn’t agree more. We believe that when we build strong, inclusive communities and foster meaningful connections across and with each other, we grow stronger together as human beings.

Across the globe, LGBTQ+ individuals continue to face discrimination and marginalization. That’s why at DNIC we are committed to

✔️ Supporting awareness and education around LGBTQ+ issues
✔️ Celebrating the community every day
✔️ Taking accountability for our actions
✔️ Calling out discriminatory behaviours

As a consulting firm dedicated to equity, inclusion, and social impact, we look forward to helping create a world where everyone can live authentically and with pride.

Let’s continue to listen, learn, speak up and build communities, together. 🏳️‍🌈

Join us for our next DNIC Virtual webinar on Making Mental Health Accessible!

Mental health and wellbeing are essential — both in our personal lives and in the workplace. In this DNIC Virtual session, we’ll explore how to make mental health support and wellbeing practices more inclusive, practical, approachable and accessible.

Join us for a meaningful conversation on removing barriers to care, building emotionally healthy environments, and empowering individuals and organizations to prioritize wellbeing in real, tangible ways.

We’re excited to welcome two powerful voices in the space who are driving this work forward:
Natasha Kalidin - Certified Co-Active Coach and Founder of Stress to Strength, who helps HR leaders cultivate wellbeing-first workplace cultures.
Viviana Ni - Registered Art Therapist, Clinical Counsellor and Founder of Inner Haven Counselling with over 12 years of global experience, known for her creative, culturally responsive approach to mental health care.

Let’s break the stigma, expand access, and create a culture where mental wellbeing is a right—not a privilege.

Don’t miss this chance to connect with fellow professionals and contribute to meaningful discussions that can shape the future of our field. You are welcome to either join the interactive discussion or simply dial in to listen. We look forward to seeing you there!
