A decade of living in the greatest city in the world🗽🍎
In honor of officially becoming a New Yorker I thought I would share ten things I have learned over the years.

1. Do not stop in the middle of the sidewalk - you must pull over.
2. The subway car is empty for a reason enter at your own risk
3. Say yes to new opportunities you never know who you will meet and who will become important to you
4. Themes and costumes are a YES always
5. Monday night at Sid Gold’s means getting home close to 1am plan accordingly
6. As a single girl Friday nights are for the girlies and not first dates
7. Crying on the subway is real thing and shockingly normal we have all been there
8. Being a regular at a bar is totally worth it! Learning bar tenders names and remembering them goes a long way!
9. It’s rewarding to make tourists feel special and take pics for them- it saves time and gets them out of the way too
10. Most importantly - Being your authentic self will attract the right people into your life. There are so many people in this city and you cannot trust everyone. You are not everyone’s cup of tea and that’s okay *this took me a long time to accept* but to the right people you will be. Friends come and go but the real ones who are meant to be in your life will stay. I am so grateful for the support system I have here and the friends who became family. Welcome to the acoustic set😉
Getting to sing with @blairbearmusic is magic, and I love that he bolsters my love for any and all things Taylor. Jumping out of my comfort zone and working on something so low in my register is scary, but I’m thankful for a safe environment to learn and grow!
