✂️workshop alert✂️ Paper Collage Cloth Saturday, 03 October 2026 | 10:30 AM to 01:30 at @mprg_vic as part of the National Works on Paper Exhibition Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring the creative possibilities of paper, cloth and stitching. 🖇️ Link in bio Working with an inspiring mix of handmade paper, fabric offcuts, recycled textiles & fashion magazines, participants will experiment with layering, composition, colour & pattern to create richly textured collage surfaces. Through a combination of collage & simple hand-sewing techniques, you'll transform collected materials into a unique quilted textile work that can be displayed at home or incorporated into an ongoing creative project. Inspired by the material experimentation & ideas explored in the National Works on Paper exhibition, this workshop offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from a featured exhibiting artist while discovering new approaches to working across paper & textile traditions. No previous sewing, textile or collage experience is necessary. Some materials supplied, however we encourage you to bring your own special memory making fabrics & papers. Light refreshements included 🍓 by @dnj_paper
