🔍With one more sleep before we kick off Redbridge Festival of the Dead 2026, we finish our spotlight posts with our digital and interactive art installations!

At both locations Wanstead Library on 29th October and Redbridge Central Library on 30th October running throughout the festival day:

💭Before I Die Wall: inspired by the work of @candychangland, share your dreams and aspirations of what you would like to achieve before you die

✍#Unsaid by Life, Death, Whatever: a collection of cathartic postcards, share your words, leave a message to someone without judgement or comment @lifedeathwhat

🖼️ Digital Art Exhibition curated by @hellothemushroom: featuring the work of artists from around the world (you can also view a selection of printed pieces at Wanstead in the library cabinet)

Also at Redbridge Central Library only on 30th October:
❤️ Remember Me – Ofrenda: Traditionally on the Day of the Dead, graves are decorated and ofrenda (alters) are made to remember loved ones who have died. Draw or write about someone who has passed and gently place it upon our community ofrenda. Audio Description available on event page and next to the Ofrenda on the day.

🧩Pick an Afterlife Claw Machine: A fun, interactive machine to help you discover what different cultures believe happen in the Afterlife. Originally commissioned for Afterlives Festival @pitsillidesstacey
