During my time in Skagway, I completed the Duffs challenge. Thats all of Skagway’s 12 hiking trails covering 84 miles in one summer. Certainly one of if not the hardest thing I’ve ever done but wouldnt trade it for anything. Only around 1% of all town residents complete it each year. Enjoy these pictures of my journey. No summer is complete for me without serious hiking so thank you Skagway for filling that void.

Neville

You lived a life of unparalleled joy. You loved outside. You love the sunshine. You loved to have your belly rubbed. And you loved us. You loved us more than we deserved and all we could do was hope to return the amount of love you gave us back.

You made people laugh. You combatted Auri’s prissiness with a carefree joyful and often naive attitude that lit up any room.

We named you Neville not only because you can be clueless. All the time. But you have courage and strength. Just like Neville Longbottom. Strength to comfort us when we were grieving. Strength to hold us up when we needed you most.

We can’t do justice to all the joy you gave us. It can’t be done. All we can do is remember your warm loving, carefree, clueless, and courageous spirit.

I love you so much Neville.

Here are a few of the rhymes I was able to come up with for Neville throughout his short life

Well…. that’s a wrap on senior year!! This year was a roller coaster with many highs and lows. One main take away? The opportunities that I created for myself are the things that got me through my darkest times. Not to mention the amazing friends and family I have to lean on as well. Those projects have taught me the most and are the things I will remember many years from now when I look back upon this amazing time. Next stop, graduation!!! by @dobbins_danny

Well… another amazing summer with Missoula Children’s Theatre. 9 weeks, 5 national parks, 300 kids, over 70 hours of driving and one unforgettable adventure. Thank you all that helped me accomplish this but a special thanks to @atlas.kess Thank you for being the best tour partner I could ask for but more importantly a great friend. After this summer, let’s conquer the world.

I never thought I would enjoy teaching kids two years ago but now, it has become a passion of mine. Though this job is one of the hardest things I have ever taken on, I’m grateful for everything it has taught me(A LOT). Until next time MCT. taken in Missoula, MT by @dobbins_danny
