Processing….

Since 9/2, I’ve been processing that I won’t hear your voice again. Processing how I’ll navigate this earth without my two lifelines, the people who knew me to my core. Processing the closest thing I’ve had to a brother, incarcerated. Processing being a husband, father, clinician, and business owner while carrying an unearthly amount of grief. All year I’ve just been—processing…

The woman in these photos is responsible for my faith, my hustle, my intellect, my class, my culture, my resilience.. and so much more. What people don’t see in these photos is how she beat 27 respiratory arrests, 18 intubations, and 3 cardiac arrests. How medical doctors & data counted her out in ‘07, ‘15, ‘19 saying she wouldn’t live for more than a few months. How despite everything she was going through, she never complained. How much of a legend she is… Anybody who encountered her had no choice but to believe, and that was her purpose.

Selfishly I want more time with you, time to watch you play and read to your granddaughter, time to have you sit in the chair of the practice we built, time to laugh with you and have more mother/son talks. But time is fleeting and you made the best of yours. I’m carrying your legacy and making you proud until our next meeting..

Thank you God for privileging me the title as Judi’s son. Thank you for the incredibly generous amount of time you blessed us with her life. Thank you for showing us how to fight and have faith in you, through her. Thank you for sharing her last breaths with her loved ones. Thank you for the strength you give me & my family everyday, every hour, as we process this heavy unexpected loss. Thank you for our GIANT. Peacefully rest, I love you eternal Mom—just the two of us 🤞🏾💜♾️🕊️ by @doc.halliday_

Intentionality changes everything 💫. The environment, the energy, the craftsmanship — every detail matters when we’re creating a product that represents someone’s identity.

We caught up with the top 100 mixologist in the country to ask why he would want a grill. Grillz aren’t just jewelry for your smile… they’re a reflection of the vision behind them. 💎⛏️

Can’t fake the smile.. 🧏🏾

Love seeing how the smallest things in my career (down to the ½ millimeter) make the biggest difference. Love capturing moments like the one in the last slide 🙏🏾. Love being a part of this awesome patient’s story & collaborating to bring a vision to life 🥖.
It’s all personal..

If Kanye’s grill didn’t teach y’all anything, it showed that Dentistry is making room for Metals & Stones 💎 (and no, we’re not removing teeth - Ye didn’t either). Don’t sleep in 2024 👀😴
