Let me make this clear.

Today, you’re going to hear a lot of revisionist history from people who were never at the bedside during COVID-19. Many of them never experienced what it was like to make life-and-death decisions while hospitals were overwhelmed, families were separated, and healthcare workers gave everything they had.

COVID-19 was science in motion. The scientific method isn’t static—it evolves as evidence evolves. We learned. We adapted. We changed course when the data demanded it. That’s not failure. That’s exactly how science is supposed to work.

We lost far too many people. Every loss mattered. But because of the tireless work of physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, researchers, scientists, and countless other healthcare professionals, we saved millions more through evidence-based medicine and scientific advancement.

Do not allow this witch hunt to rewrite history.

This isn’t just about COVID. It’s about a broader effort to rewrite our nation’s history—to erase complexity, dismiss expertise, and recast those responsible as heroes while ignoring the people who actually carried us through one of the darkest moments in modern history.

The real heroes will not stand by silently.

This November, let’s choose facts over fiction, science over conspiracy, and leadership over revisionism.

Let’s make a change—together.

I voted for David Crowley because I love this city and I care about where it goes next. Your voice only counts if you use it.

There's still time. Grab a friend, leave a little early, and get to the polls and in line by 8pm. 💛
