DRK Aperitivo: Fine Cider Takeover!
19th September - 3rd October.

We’re so excited to welcome our friends and collaborators @fine_cider for a couple of week’s worth of Aperitivo treats!

We’ll be serving £5 glasses and cans showcasing a range of exquisite ciders and perries alongside our DRK classics.

We also have a curated catalogue of bottles for sharing and to enjoy over dinner on our drinks list.

‘A Sicilian Breakfast’, of sorts.
Lemon Sorbet, Whipped Cream & Madeira Sponge.

The notorious sunshine delights of Sicily, and most importantly Sicily’s lemons, inspire this - pudding for breakfast for dinner.

Uber fresh, uplifting fresh lemon sorbet with thanks to our neighbours @icecreamunion, with a liberal dollop of tangy whipped cream, cherry on top, and absolutely must be eaten together with the sweet, melty frangipane-y cake, just like they do in Sicily (AKA SE16).

Paired with our in-house made Blackberry Margarita, using wild Norfolk blackberry purée - a glorious refreshing cocktail also available on our Aperitivo menu this week for £5, 4-6pm through to Saturday.

• Norfolk Figs & Buffalo Mozzarella

Fresh figs hand-harvested from our friend’s parents’ garden in Norfolk, with Buffalo mozzarella from @hamandcheeseco and Crimson King Basil Leaves from @flourishproduce

• Blackberry Jelly & Fior di Latte Ice Cream
Wild jewel-like blackberries, also from Norfolk and an uber creamy, slightly tangy scoop @icecreamunion

Seasonal, height-of-summer dishes created from specially selected, hyper-local producers and suppliers @spaterminus

Full menu + Specials Board runs throughout this weekend, outside of our Aperitivo Hours (4-6pm Friday & Saturday)

Our #Aperitivo Debut - what a turn out!
Thank you so much to everyone who came down to eat, drink & enjoy with us. We loved seeing so many family & friends together in our space, and even managed to sell out of the martinis… And the bar menu flew too.

Some special highlights: Cucumber & Melon Skewers, DRK X FTJ Burger, Cheese & Summer Truffle Toastie, Home-Made Strawberry Infused Mezcalita.

Thanks to all our wonderful neighbours and suppliers @ftjspa @hendersonseafood @flourishproduce @hamandcheeseco @icecreamunion , and to @alexjasonbal for spinning the decks so stylishly.

The fun continues again this week and throughout the month, starting from today through to Saturday, 4-6pm. Come and join for cocktails and snacks, or start your evening with an elegant aperitif before your dinner reservation - we can still of course take bookings for all and any occasion.

** FLOSSAGE PARTY 16/08/2026 **

I like to think there’s no particular need to justify having a party in life generally, but in this case there really is.*A celebration of offal, a celebration of whole carcass butchery, from body to bite, alongside @ftjspa and @dockelyroadkitchen, and on a personal note, my birthday.
Cue another crass namesake play on words.* You’re welcome.

To combine all these parts lovingly into a little link of joy - or metaphorical intestine - we’re putting on a substantially offal-led Sunday counter at the shop, featuring a capsule collection of Flossages (TM) for you to buy for yourselves. Following on and just a little further down the road, there will be a special menu of Floffal / Flossage-inspired drinks and snacks curated by me and the wonderful team at Dockley Road Kitchen, with exquisite FTJ and hyper-local Spa Terminus produce. A few people have enquired about where to buy or eat flossages after some events - it will be here and then, indulgently.

Please just come along, between the times stated - we would love to see as many of you there as possible. It’s a party. DM if you have any questions or might like us to try and get something in particular in for you or saved in the meantime. Offal is precious, not always entirely plentiful, be curious and responsible - just like all good party guests!
