The journey continues, and now the race is on for the TOP 5!

🗳️ Top 5 voting starts NOW and ends October 8th.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has voted, shared, encouraged, and supported me throughout this journey.

Not every Super Dad wears an “S” on his chest.

Sometimes, being a Super Dad looks like a simple word of encouragement after a tough day.

Sometimes it’s reminding your child that tomorrow is a new day.

Sometimes it’s remembering that they have an upcoming school event and making sure they know, “I’ll be there.”

It’s the small moments that often make the biggest memories.

To all the dads and father figures who continue to show up, be present, encourage, listen, celebrate, and love—thank you. Your work matters, even when no one is watching.

Let’s keep shaping the narrative of how important our work as fathers is to our children, our families, our schools, and our communities.

ONE DAY CLOSER TO THE TOP 10! 🏆

Every vote counts, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to support, vote, share, and encourage me along this journey.

October 1st will close out the window for Top 10!

Fatherhood has taught me that being a good example isn’t just about showing up—it’s also about teaching our children how to show up for themselves.

One of the most important lessons we can model is keeping our word. When we tell our children we’re going to do something, they learn the value of trust, commitment, and accountability when we follow through.

But there’s another lesson that’s just as important: knowing when not to overcommit.

Sometimes, we reach our capacity. And that’s okay.

It’s okay to say, “Not at this time.”

Our children need to see that setting boundaries doesn’t mean we don’t care. It means we understand our limits, take care of ourselves, and make thoughtful decisions about where we can give our time and energy.

We want our children to learn how to show up and be present for others—but also how to recognize when they need to pause, recharge, and take care of themselves.

That balance is part of becoming a healthy, responsible, and resilient adult.

So today, as we get one day closer to the Top 10, I’m asking you to keep the votes coming!

Today is the final day to vote in Round One, and at the end of the round, the Top 20 Dads will advance to Round Two!

I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who has voted, shared the link, encouraged me, and continued to show up throughout this journey. Your support has truly meant so much!

But the truth is, I am one of so many Super Dads who are doing this work every single day—not just during a competition, but year-round.

To all the dads and father figures who continue to show up…

Who make the calls.
Who have the tough conversations.

For me, being a dad isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present, creating memories, choosing love, and helping young-men navigate life’s challenges.

One of the most rewarding parts of being a dad has been watching my son overcome challenges and grow in confidence. Our father-son conversations about resilience, perseverance, and pushing through difficult moments have become some of the most meaningful moments of my journey as a dad.

I often say that dads are our children’s first superheroes. But the real privilege is helping our children discover that they can be their own superheroes, too.

Today is a special milestone as we celebrate the talented, considerate, and humble young man you have become. We are incredibly proud of the young man you are and so blessed to witness your journey into adulthood.

First day as a high school freshman! It feels like just yesterday we were walking into PreK trying to figure things out. Thankful for all those who have surrounded this young man with love, support and prayer over the years. Watching his growth through challenges and success has been one of life’s greatest blessings.

As he begins this new chapter, I’m continuing to cover him in prayers for protection, wisdom, confidence, and character. The journey continues, and I know this will be a great school year ahead.
