First day in the “new” car after all the changes by @sub2_speedhouse While it was my PB (only my second ever day at BW), it’s pretty sloppy. As you can see I’m still very much in the learning phase with it and tires were pretty heat soaked by this point. (End of driver excuses)

I will admit though, sliding this thing around was pretty fun 😂…I’ll post more of that in another video. The good news is it’s obvious there’s a LOT more time in it. Looking forward to the journey.

A few days ago, I rediscovered the card that @joaqspoblete gave to me on his 30th birthday. I meant to take a pic and send it to him to say thank you again but I let it get away from me. When the news broke yesterday, it was one of the first things I did.
When Joaquin first gave this to me, I felt it. It probably sounds silly to some or maybe even a lot of you, but if you know Joaquin, you know this sentiment wasn’t something he’d say lightly.
For me, Kobe was bigger than basketball. Without him, I’m not sure Joaquin and I would’ve formed that initial bond that built into so much more.
Kobe was that spark.
Kobe felt invincible. Something like this would never happen to him. It’s why yesterday, I kept saying “It just felt like he’d always be there.” I’m realizing now that he still will be. For me, for Joaquin and for what I’m sure are millions more.
