I never got the true general surgery "graduation" experience so I'll forever haunt the @umjmhsurgery graduations to re-live the shared trauma. Congratulations to some of the most wholesome chuckle-heads I know on completing general surgery training. Eternally grateful for what the UM/Jackson faculty, staff, and patients imprinted on me.

Dior gifted us an unforgettable Mother's Day experience, inviting my family to have a photoshoot at the Design District boutique. We rushed through it a bit since we were making a quick pit stop just as we were starting off to Orlando to meet up with @ssmossmd. The kids were literally changing out of their school clothes and into these outfits in the van, but the @ladureeus treats, apple juice, crayons, and @dior lollipops were worth the little bit of stress. The kids were so bewildered by the royal treatment that they were actually complete angels for the shoot. These are scans of the photos they gave us and some BTS shots. Happy mother's day to all who bear the burden and privilege of being called mom, and those who may not be called mom but do their best to nurture and love the creatures close to them. I'm so fortunate to have been welcomed to the Baker Gordon Conference as a general surgery resident in 2020. I had never been to a live surgery conference before, and the nitpicky banter over technique and results demonstrated to me just how high the standards really are in aesthetic surgery. Dr. Stuzin is absolutely driven by the pursuit of excellence- not trend. What the conference brought to the aesthetic community is irreplaceable. I will miss the annual reunion of all of the friends I have made at this conference, spanning from the dawn of their careers to the twilight. And I will miss seeing everyone cut loose at the gala night! by @doctorfixerupper

Take a look at how a skincare maximalist packs for a one week trip. I am straying far from my daily routine just to use these little travel sized items from @chanel.beauty but I have high hopes they'll do the job. I will bring the @ubeauty Super Hydrator because it's been keeping me afloat since I got a larger size 2 weeks ago, and I have little reason to trust the Chanel products so far. I will 💯% be bringing several formats of sunscreen because I cannot breathe without them in my orbit.

My one-of-a-kind son is 10 years old today. He's kind, sensitive, witty, easy going, intelligent. He is a great kid and big brother. He adores his grandparents, cousins, baby sisters, and "big brother" Bambi. We are so lucky to live in his orbit. by @doctorfixerupper
