✨ The Triforce ✨

My heart is just so full right now knowing a new remake is on the way, so I simply had to channel all that nostalgia into drawing my own version of Princess Zelda from Ocarina of Time.

My journey with this franchise actually started because of my older brother. Back in the super nes era, I was not very good at playing video games at all. Mostly because I completely lacked the patience back then, so I mostly just watched him play A Link to the Past instead. I was happy sitting back and being his number one spectator.

But then Ocarina of Time happened and everything completely changed for me. I got super into the game and it totally changed how I experienced interactive worlds. That melody on the ocarina, the vast fields, and the incredible story pulled me right in forever. Creating this piece felt like such a lovely way to thank my inner child and celebrate a series that shaped so much of who I am today. I hope you all love this take on her as much as I loved bringing her to life on my screen!

Finally completing the battle scene for the AFK Arena June Creation Challenge! ⚖️✨

I’ve wanted to draw Liberta for so long, especially after creating an illustration of his sister, Lucilla, back in December. To keep the connection between them clear, I chose a similar background style to tie their pieces together.

Liberta is such a fascinating character. As one of the twin messengers of the heavens, he is burdened by the duty of upholding absolute order. While he may seem cold, his bond with his sister is the true anchor of his existence—a delicate balance between his celestial mandate and his humanity.

For this piece, I returned to my favorite gouache technique, layering paint over solid, separate elements to build up that ethereal, glowing intensity. I created this piece in Clip Studio Paint using my XP-Pen Deco M.

Voici ma participation au concours @clipstudiopaint x @ankama_editions ! 🌿✨
Thème : Fan Art dans l’univers de WAKFU !

Pour cette illustration, j’ai voulu réunir la princesse Amalia, Evangelyne, et un petit Tofu curieux qui passait par là. Je dois vous avouer que ce dessin a une saveur toute particulière pour moi. J'ai eu un coup de cœur absolu pour le peuple Sadida dès mes premières heures passées sur DOFUS il y a des années... En posant les dernières touches de couleur, j'ai eu un petit pincement au cœur en réalisant tout le chemin parcouru depuis mon tout premier dessin de Sadida. Voir ses progrès artistiques prendre vie sous ses yeux, c’est toujours un moment hyper émouvant.

Côté technique, j'ai voulu travailler la matière en restant sur l'essentiel : j’ai tout fait avec seulement deux brosses sur Clip Studio Paint, le classique G-Pen pour poser des lignes nettes et un pinceau peinture à l'huile pour apporter de la texture et de la profondeur à la couleur.

Le tout a été réalisé sur Clip Studio Paint avec ma tablette XP-PEN Artist 10 (2nd Gen).

Theme: Fan Art in the WAKFU universe!

For this piece, I brought together Princess Amalia, Evangelyne, and a curious little Tofu passing by. Honestly, this illustration means the world to me. I fell head over heels in love with the Sadida kingdom back during my very first hours playing DOFUS years ago... Putting down the final touches of color was actually pretty emotional… I suddenly realized just how far I’ve come since the first time I ever drew a Sadida. Watching your own artistic growth come to life right before your eyes is such an incredible feeling.

Technique-wise, I wanted to focus on rich textures while keeping my tools simple. I made the entire piece using just two brushes in Clip Studio Paint: the classic G-Pen for clean, crisp lines, and an oil paint brush to give the colors depth and painterly texture.

Created in Clip Studio Paint using my XP-PEN Artist 10 (2nd Gen) tablet.

If you’ve been keeping up with my art lately, you already know I’m obsessed with the Kaiju No. 8 crossover hype! Since Kikoru Shinomiya is officially a selectable character in AFK Arena, I just had to create a piece blending these two worlds together... I tried to make it look like a manga cover.

For this illustration (I went back to use line art... I know... shocking), I loved the idea of Awakened Lyca stepping out of her usual realm and crossing over into "the real world". To match that vibe, I gave her some modern, more Japanese-inspired "real" clothing while keeping her classic fantasy aesthetic intact. Seeing it finally come to life from those chaotic rough lines and digital scribbles into the final colored version has been such a fun ride!

Athena and Medusa Before the Fall

Hey everyone! For this months AFK Arena Creators challenge I wanted to explore the tragic history and deep bond between Athena and Medusa before everything changed.

In the official lore, Medusa served faithfully as Athena's most devout priestess inside the temple before misfortune and the stonecurse struck. I imagined what they looked like during those peaceful days in Olympus. I gave Athena longer hair because I think it looks majestic, and tweaked their outfits to portray a past version of their iconic designs while keeping true to their roots.

Even though they eventually face a harsh destiny and have to turn their backs on Olympus to step into Esperia together, this piece captures the quiet devotion they shared before the tragedy.

Brought some underground subway vibes to life for this one! 🚇✨

When I saw this DTIYS challenge featuring Psy, I immediately wanted to channel my inner Jet Set Radio... cranking up the tunes, grabbing some virtual spray paint, and tagging up the station.

There's also a bittersweet side to this piece: this was drawn on my trusty XP-Pen Deco, which is unfortunately completely broken now. 💔 This artwork marks its final hurrah. I created the whole thing in Clip Studio Paint using just a pencil brush and a line art pencil.

An epic final send-off for a well-loved tablet! Hope you like how Psy turned out!

BLOOD MOON: The Nature of the Cosmos 🌙
Nature isn’t just what’s under our feet... it’s everything above us, too. For my entry into the AFK Arena April Creation Challenge, I wanted to interpret the "Nature" theme through a celestial lens. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been completely obsessed with Sailor Moon—it’s where my love for moon-themed heroines and cosmic magic first began. This illustration of Selene is the grand finale of my three-part series inspired by the NASA Artemis II mission, and it feels like a full-circle moment for me. I was absolutely captivated by the discovery of "new colors" on the moon, and I wanted to use that updated, scientific palette to redefine how we see a "Blood Moon," blending my childhood nostalgia with the incredible astronomical achievements of today.
The Tech & Technique: I created this entire piece using Clip Studio Paint, which is my go-to for achieving that thick, traditional gouache texture digitally. Every stroke was mapped out on my XP-Pen Deco M tablet, and I really put the hardware to the test for this finale! The pressure sensitivity was vital for capturing the organic, flowing movement of Selene's hair and the intricate, glowing details of the lunar orb. Bringing this vision to life required a balance of precision and painterly freedom, and I'm so happy with how this hardware/software combo helped me bridge the gap between science and fantasy.

Moon Prism Power (Artemis II Edition) 🌙✨
Sailor Moon is the literal reason I started drawing as a kid; I just wanted to be able to hold a piece of that magic on paper. Seeing the "new" colors of the Moon from the Artemis II mission felt like a total full-circle moment, so I spent about 6 hours reimagining Usagi sitting atop this vibrant, mineral-rich moonscape. It’s wild to think that after decades of drawing her, the actual Moon is finally catching up to the magical girl aesthetic we’ve loved since the 90s!

This version of Usagi is powered by real space data, reflecting the stunning mineral palette NASA just brought home. The fiery iron-rich minerals and oxidized ilmenite create those warm, glowing oranges, while the high-titanium basalts add the deep, celestial blues that define her iconic look. I even layered in the bright highlights of KREEP minerals to give the lunar surface that signature sparkle. Merging my childhood inspiration with cutting-edge science was the best way to celebrate the return of the Artemis crew... it feels like she’s been waiting for them all along!

Athena & Medusa: A Sacred Pact ✨

I am SO excited to finally share this completed illustration! If you know me, you know I’ve been completely obsessed with mythology ever since I watched Saint Seiya as a kid. So, when I saw that AFK Arena was adding these two absolute icons, I was beyond hyped and immediately had to draw them.

I took a few artistic liberties with Athena’s design for this one... if you look closely at her dress slit, I incorporated some musical elements to give her a unique, harmonious twist!

Here is my entry for the Conclave of Wizards! This is actually the first time I've ever gathered the courage to participate in a character design challenge like this, so I'm a little nervous but so excited to share my wizard with you all.

Meet Mastica, the Bubblegum Mystic!

The idea came to me from something we all see (and usually throw away) every day: chewed-up bubblegum, haha! I thought it would be a really fun challenge to take something discarded and sticky and turn it into a powerful, magical character.

I framed her within a candy-coated tarot card aesthetic, draped in ever-melting, stretchable bubblegum robes. She weaves sugar-spun spells and channels her enchantments through the gooey, glowing magical orb floating above her hand. Her magic is sticky, sweet, and highly versatile... she can trap foes in unbreakable bubbles or stretch her spells across the battlefield to protect her allies. Don't let the cute rabbit ears fool you; her magic is guaranteed to stick!

Selene x Sailor Moon 🏹💖

Is it just me, or would these two be an unstoppable duo? I’ve been working on these separate illustrations for a while, but I couldn't resist mixing them into one "Side B" composition. Selene brings that raw, ancient power, while Usagi brings the heart. Together, they feel like the ultimate lunar defense.

The Twist: I used the actual mineral colors of the moon (shoutout to the Artemis II mission findings!) to map out the planet they’re guarding.
