@thewalkleys celebrates and supports great Australian journalism, telling the stories of our nation and strengthening our democracy. All six of this year's longlisted documentaries are powerful in their impact and storytelling, including these Documentary Australia-supported projects 👇

Journey Home, David Gulpilil (@journeyhomedavidgulpilil)

We Are Jeni

Silenced (@silenced_film)
International human rights lawyer @suigenerisjen takes audiences inside the courtroom and behind the global headlines, to fight against the weaponisation of defamation laws by alleged perpetrators to silence survivors and journalists.

Tomorrow, three films will be shortlisted and announced alongside all finalists for the 71st Walkley Awards.
