The moment an Irish New Age legend meets 90s hip-hop history 🎶✨

When The Fugees sampled Enya’s "Boadicea" on "Ready or Not" without clearing it first, a massive lawsuit was almost guaranteed. But after actually listening to the track, Enya realized it wasn't a cheap cash grab—it was a masterpiece. Instead of suing, she let them keep it, asking only for proper credit on the artwork. True respect for the craft! 👑🔥

What’s your favorite track that samples another tune?
Comment below!

Before laptops and digital editing, Fleetwood Mac literally took razor blades to studio tape, chopped up three scrapped songs, and taped them together to create "The Chain" ✂️🎸

That legendary bass drop and rock ending was sliced out of an abandoned jam session—and one wrong cut would’ve destroyed the master tape forever.

Is this the greatest outro in rock history, or is another Rumours track taking top spot for you? Drop your pick below 👇

Unrecorded - M83

Around 2005, YouTube recommended me a movie trailer for a film I never actually watched (Night Watch), but the track playing in the background completely blew me away: “Unrecorded” by M83. Growing up on hip-hop and electronica, synths were nothing new to me, but M83’s moody, expansive, post-rock sound hit on a whole different emotional level. It opened the door to a completely new side of electronic music for me long before their mainstream boom—and it’s still an absolute masterclass. What’s a track that introduced you to an artist long before they blew up?

Dead Prez – Let’s Get Free (2000) 🎧🔥
If you're a person of color living in the Western world, this album is an essential listen.
It changed my life at 15—turning me off mainstream hip-hop and opening my eyes to conscious hip hop and systemic issues. Released at the height of hip-hop’s commercial era, Dead Prez dropped a radical blueprint for self-determination, health, and survival within a broken system.

Have you heard this record front to back? Drop your favorite track below 👇

Climbing Up the Walls - Marcus Intalex (ft. Danny Fierce)

A Radiohead cover… turned into a D&B classic. 🖤
A discarded instrumental that almost never saw the light of day. What a tune.

Have you heard this one before? 👇
