Yesterday we had the honor of celebrating Porkchop’s 5th Gotcha Day (or “found ya” day in this case). We took her to Three Dog Bakery and got her a cake to celebrate 💗I’m so grateful we had such a beautiful day with her because we’ve had an emotional couple of weeks regarding this girl. We’ve learned that she has carcinoma masses in her liver, so our time with her is even more limited than we realized. We are devastated but doing everything we can to ensure her final months are filled with nothing but joy.

You could never tell she’s sick, though, I mean LOOK AT THAT SMILE!!!!! Just pure happiness, and that’s all we want for her. Her resilience and excitability give us the strength to be the positive reinforcement she needs. I love my Porky baby with my whole heart, and I’m grateful for these moments we get to share together. I’m so happy she found us. 🥹💗
