And to carry on the roll.. the Centurion Marshall I got from the #dadhammer secret Santa. I’ve the spider and the crow war bands to build/paint for #warcry so think I’ll get them on the table soon! by @doddshammer

#titus finished in time for my BiL’s birthday.. I did give the eyes another pass after this picture was taken but pretty content with how this turned out. #spacemarine2 #ultramarines #spacemarines #warhammer by @doddshammer

So it’s been a little minute since I’ve posted.. I’ve not painted very much during this time either… life has been in the way and motivation has been none existent… but very happy with how these are turning/have turned out!

Sorry, Faffnir.. I love you in the #horusheresy series but I've no need for your model and this seemed too cool of an idea to pass up! All feat. My #thousandsons I've finally made a start on!

In May I'm going to be running the Great Manchester Run for the 3rd time.
First was in 2013 with about 6 weeks of running experience and it seeming like a good idea at the time.
Then again on 2017 when I was actually fit
And now in 2024 when I've loads of running experience but am not particularly fit! I was meant to do it last year as a 10 year anniversary thing but ended up having surgery instead..oops!

I'm running, once again, for Tommy's; who do incredible work supporting people at an absolutely appalling time in their lives and far more people than we tend to realise experience the things they work with. My hope is I can do at least a little bit to help them help others so if you can spare a few quid I'd be incredibly grateful!

2013: 1:18:33
2017: 54:56
2024: Somewhere around an hour?!

Mother! Managed to finish of my Tervigon before my game tomorrow..I meant to do more work on my genestealers..but.. didn't.
Goopy effects with glue and BFTBG for extra gribbliness.

I actually finished painting something! Her little broodlings aren't far behind.

So I did an audit of all my *unfinished* minis.. some are in the cellophane (not many though) and some are a few brush strokes away from being finished but critically.. AREN'T finished. If I paint 1.67 minis a day for the next year then I'll be back up to date! Sounds so-able to me!!

(And this isn't the whole list because of Instagrams shitty aspect ratios)

Huge thanks to @derelictpixies_creatorium for my brilliant #hohohobbyvices haul this year! The tube is the Rogue Trader artwork in a gorgeous print which is definitely getting pride of place above my hobby desk!
Cheers, legend!

Here's the other stuff that didn't really fit in... Some #epic40k giving each other a little chase and the cats (and hedgehog) are from @northumbriantin who make beautifully characterful weirdos and are well worth a browse.

Bloody love a hobby #secretsanta and this was from the #thanetwargamingclub one.. I received this rather glorious space wizard..perfect for my forthcoming slow grow Thousand Sons army (which I largely already own!) And I gave Lewis a hodge podge of old/weird stuff I thought would be fun for Burrows and Badgers/shelf pieces.. there's also an old (really, really old!l Chaos Fish man from the pre-slotta/let's use lead days not pictured.

Very excited for my #hohohobbyvices package to arrive!!

My #chaosknights being horrid to some #nightlords in the #thanetwargamingclub #warhammer40k league last week. My final game put me into second.. but only for now as other people will catch up with their games in hand. Been a blast stomping shit with my knights though! My wins have been pretty solid and two of my defeats completely crushing.. but they cheated so whatever.
