POSTS STORIES REELS
✨ Grace & Grit Collective LV ✨ Please pick up your October issue of Chic in the Mirror Magazine! 💕 They did such a beautiful job highlighting these heartfelt letters from fathers to their daughters. ❤️ What I love most is how this feature is changing the narrative surrounding fatherhood—shining a light on men who are present, intentional, loving, and actively involved in their daughters' lives. We often hear about the fathers who weren't there, but it's just as important to celebrate the fathers who stayed, showed up, and continue to make a difference. 👏🏾 These stories are a beautiful reminder that a father's love, presence, and words of affirmation can leave a lasting imprint on his daughter's life. Let's continue to uplift positive fatherhood and give our men their flowers! 💐 #GraceAndGritCollectiveLV #ChicInTheMirrorMagazine #ChangingTheNarrative #PresentFathers #BlackFatherhood by @dodeej
IT’S OFFICIAL — CHIC IN THE MIRROR MAGAZINE IS AVAILABLE NOW! 💕✨ What a beautiful full-circle moment. I’m so honored and grateful to be featured in the inaugural issue of Chic in the Mirror Magazine. My feature, “My Resilience Is My Super Power,” is more than an article—it’s a piece of my journey. A story of faith, loss, resilience, purpose, and learning that the things meant to break you can become part of what God uses to build you. At 50, I’m still becoming. Still healing. Still evolving. Still walking boldly in purpose. And I’m incredibly grateful for every opportunity God gives me to use my story to remind another woman that she can thrive after everything she’s survived. Congratulations to Belinda Washington and the entire Chic in the Mirror family on the inaugural issue! 🥂💕 The magazine is AVAILABLE NOW! Grab your copy and celebrate this incredible collection of women, stories, identity, leadership, and purpose. Grace. Grit. Resilience. Purpose. And we’re just getting started. 💕✨ #ChicInTheMirror #MyResilienceIsMySuperPower #GraceAndGritLV #WomenEmpowerment #WomenWhoLead ✨ by @dodeej
There’s a certain kind of peace that comes when you stop trying to figure out HOW and start trusting that it will all work out. 🤎✨ Maybe it won’t happen the way you planned. Maybe the timeline will look different. Maybe God is rearranging some things you thought were supposed to stay. But that doesn’t mean He isn’t working. I’ve learned that some seasons require Grace to accept what I cannot control and Grit to keep moving while I wait. 🙏🏽 So today, I’m choosing peace over pressure. Faith over fear. Trust over trying to have all the answers. I don’t know exactly how every piece is going to come together… But I know it will all work out. 💕 And somehow, some way, I’ll look back and realize God was working the whole time. Grace for the journey. Grit for the process. Faith for the outcome. ✨ #ItWillAllWorkOut #GraceAndGritCollective #FaithOverFear # # KeepGoing #LifestyleWithPurpose GraceForTheJourney by @dodeej
Now what once crushed you is covering someone else. That’s not pain wasted—that’s purpose revealed. And don’t forget… you have the power to shift your story. What you choose today can change your tomorrow. Start showing up for the future you—today is a good day to begin. Walk in it. Pour from it. Be proud of it. 🤍 #GraceAndGritLV #HealedWomenHeal #FutureFocused StartToday StrengthInSurrender by @dodeej
Stepping into 50 with a heart full of gratitude. My tribe was so intentional from start to finish — we laughed, we cried, and it was truly everything. Thank you to everyone who celebrated, showed up, and poured so much love into this milestone. I don’t take any of it for granted. Hello 50! I love you all dearly. 💗 #Hello50 #Chapter50 #50AndGrateful #MilestoneMoments #GoldenSeason by @dodeej
Small wins matter. Progress isn’t always loud or dramatic — sometimes it’s simply choosing to keep going. Give yourself grace for the bumps in the road and celebrate every step forward. That’s the Grace & Grit way. ✨ #GraceAndGritLV #SmallWinsMatter #GraceForTheJourney #KeepGoing #WarriorSpirit by @dodeej

Sis, this is your reminder— You don’t have to have it all figured out. You are not behind. You are not lacking. You are becoming. Grace to move gently. Grit to keep going. The assignment is becoming her. However that looks. Professionally. Physically. Spiritually. This year she’s showing up differently in rooms— with clarity, confidence, and conviction. No shrinking. No explaining. Just grace, grit, and growth. 💫⚡️ #ConfidenceSeason #NoShrinking #ElevatedEnergy #WalkingInPurpose #GraceAndGritLV by @dodeej
Sisterhood isn’t just about showing up when it’s easy— it’s about standing together when life feels heavy. It’s grace when one of us is tired. Grit when one of us feels weak. And love that reminds us none of us walk alone. Here, we fix crowns, speak life, and hold space. Together, we rise—stronger, softer, and unstoppable. 🤍⚡️ #GraceAndGritLV #Strongertogether #Sisterhood #WomenSupportingWomen #FaithOverFear by @dodeej
