Ground control to Major Chai 🫖

This is a bit surreal… but super grateful for the opportunity, so thank you to @glenn.seven and the BCCO team for all their hard work.

The mix itself was recorded almost a year ago as part of a New Faces submission, which ultimately landed me a spot on the main mix series.

Releasing an old recording comes with mixed feelings, which I’m sure a lot of people can relate to. I’d say my sound and technical ability have progressed since then, but energetically, it still felt right to stick with the original mix, recorded specifically for BCCO.

I don’t spend as much time on the decks as I’d like due to work/life commitments, but it’s still my passion, so sharing moments like this feels really special.

Shout out to all of the artists featured and mentioned in the tracklist!

Any support is really appreciated! Hope you like it 🫶

Monday opens with Limerick’s @meltx__, whose home-recorded Xone:92 set builds from an atmospheric intro into a cinematic 160 BPM hardcore run laced with hardstyle, psy, rawstyle and industrial. Tuesday, London-based @doemdenker_ goes lighter and groovier with steady energy throughout, pulling in a handful of BCCO cuts along the way. Midweek belongs to @ang_mp3 from Breda, who spans bass-heavy rhythms and house touches before building towards dub techno and even a hint of reggae. Thursday sees Kuala Lumpur’s @realmryang step away from hard techno into deeper grooves, a personal favourite rarely heard in his sets. Then @__adiel__ closes the week on Friday with a fully vinyl journey from warm, dubby grooves into darker hypnotic techno with serious tribal substance.

Artist Spotlight: @doemdenker_

Doemdenker is a London based DJ and co-founder of @fragment_ldn which is a non-profit collective pushing hypnotic and groovy techno in the capital. His own sound is dance floor inspired and aims to deliver an intentionally consistent energy which keeps you locked in from start to finish! Expect punchy baselines, groove & percussion…

We’re committed to bringing artists that not only have a distinct sound identity within London’s Techno scene but that are also working to make landscape better for marginalised communities. Doemdenker’s work raising funds and platforming artists from marginalised communities through @fragment_ldn alongside @antonio.fragment deserves mentioning here 💜

Grab your ticket to our next event on the 19th June through the link in our bio - just over a week until we dance together again 📦 by @doemdenker_

Introducing the first five artists of 2026 in our Oncidium series!

The first 10 months of this project went better than we expected, We’ve received so much music from truly talented artists. It’s also been a chance to meet new people and create friendships, which is the core of any collective project: human interaction.
In less than a year, we’ll be releasing our 20th podcast next Friday, and we’ve already hosted four events in this series with you.

We’ll continue to do our best to contribute to the recognition of London artists, with at least two more Oncidium events this year, and who knows, maybe even more!

The first artists of 2026 have confirmed that we can be incredibly proud of our scene!

Many thanks to Spinks, SBBS, Yova Yager, OllyK and Doemdenker.

Spending last weekend in Paris and then releasing a mix for a Parisian label felt fitting. I’ve been following @blur.xp for a while and really rate their sound so very happy to be a part of the Blurcast series!

Still enjoying mixing when I get the time and adapting my vision to a label’s sound is always a fun challenge! Here’s a few clips from the release which will give you a taste of the vibe I was going for 🖤

Main focus is still Fragment though and looking forward to our next few announcements because we’re working on some exciting plans!! taken in Paris, France by @doemdenker_

To please your ears, @___eudoxie , co-founder of @symbiosis.ldn , will join us, as well as Fragment founders B2B, @antonio.music__ b2b @doemdenker_

You can listen live on the website and each set will be available later on SoundCloud!

His own style shifts between dark and more uplifting sounds depending on his mood and the occasion.
