Foster support program. We help with pairing, supplies, training support, and promotion for your city shelter foster dog!

POSTS STORIES REELS

We see you LA! Dogs are landing foster homes and leaving long overcrowded shelters because Angelenos are stepping up.

We want to see fosters and adopters succeed, mitigate common behavioral issues, and ultimately prevent returns to the shelter. We’re firm believers in dogs exiting the shelter and NEVER going back.

Our training guides are free! Please share with anyone that could use a little support. Visit dogcoalitionla.org/adoption-guide or check out the “Education” tab, link in bio.

Gentle, petite Lily is ready for her forever home! The best companion you could ask for! 💗 At just 40 lbs, she doesn’t ask for much. Lower energy, crate trained, and great with other dogs (no info at this time on cats). Super friendly and darling all around.

Let’s get this girl her forever home!

Apply through the link in our bio if you’re interested in meeting her or hearing more about her. You’ll love her.

How is this pretty girl Bailey still looking for her home!? 🏡 🐕

Bailey loves getting to explore on her daily walks around the neighborhood with her foster siblings. She also enjoys relaxing in the sunshine and has begun showing her playful side with happy tail wags, affectionate kisses, and gentle invitations to play.

Bailey gets along well with other dogs and has been steadily building confidence through structured introductions and pack walks. She has shown appropriate interactions with dogs of all sizes, including her foster's senior Chihuahua, and continues to become more comfortable each day.

She would thrive in a calm, patient home that can provide structure, consistency, and positive encouragement as she continues to blossom.

Because Bailey can still be startled by loud noises and sudden movements, a peaceful environment with adopters who understand the importance of letting her build confidence at her own pace would be an ideal fit.

🐕 ~3 years old
✅️ Potty Trained
✅️ Crate Trained
✅️ Dog-friendly

Interested in meeting her? Apply with DCLA so we can talk more about her with you! 🐾

Available for adoption!

Lots and I took a day trip to Orange County this weekend! She experienced her first drive through at @microdosebycoffeedose and we’re officially fans now (📸 of The Shocker. Loreta was not allowed a taste 😜).

She was the perfect guest at @sunnyshine’s house, even if she did steal Atticus’s giant dog bed from him. What can I say? She knows what she wants.

If you’re looking for an adventure buddy with a precious personality, please fill out an adoption form with @dogcoalitionla!

2 months since Cheesy-boy left the shelter. He’s growing, changing, exploring and learning to be the best boy he can be.
🌟7-8 months old
🌟Crate trained
🌟House trained
🌟Working on his leash skills
🌟Big time dog lover
He is looking for a family that will take the great foundation he already has and continue to build confidence and exposure out in the world! Puppies are no small commitment, only serious applicants will be considered because that is exactly what Cheese deserves! by @dogcoalitionla

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. Loreta loved getting dolled up to feel like Nicole 💅🏻

I could see Loreta’s forever family with kids that can dress her up and cuddle her to their hearts desire. She won’t just tolerate them, she would actually LOVE the attention. That’s what makes L so special: her patience, trust, and affection.

📍Loreta is located in Los Angeles (likely in close-ish proximity to Nicole Kidman herself).

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. This Nap Queen is even cuddlier during this cold snap. She loves blankies, PJs, and snuggles 🥰.

Don’t sleep on this great girl! She is happy to snooze while you’re busy, but is never too sleepy for a walk or a snuggle. She’s genuinely the perfect mix of high energy cuteness and chill vibes.

📍Loreta is based in Los Angeles (where we’re both wondering what’s going on with the weather).
